The Republican Party
They really are pretty hideous aren't they??! Some of my liberals friends say we need a 2 party system, we need the republican party. But the party of no, no new ideas, no taxes, no government intrusion, no poor people allowed, no minorities, no immigrants, no gays, no sick and in firmed, no clean environment, no public education, no affordable college, no Social Security, Medicare and Medicaid, no health insurance unless you are one of them....
Care to add anything to the list??
No ethics.

No unions.
No regulations.
No Department of Education
No Labor Department
No peace
No United Nations

ReplyDeleteAnd let's not forget that the man the GOP worships, Ronald Reagan, said that Civil Rights Act was a humiliation to the south.

And the conservative Democrats of the south left the Democratic Party after the Civil Rights Act passed, and they've been happy to be part of the GOP ever since.

ReplyDeleteHugh 30 yrs of doing more than saying NO, 30 years of economic ditch digging. And we the middle class had to be the ditch diggers for them as they sat back and watched with glee!
OF, some liberals say we need a 2 party system, and I would say fine if both parties gave for the good of the WHOLE country, not just the top 2%. We could be a country with leaders who worked in a bi-partisan way, but one party has no desire to give a black man any credit where credit is due.
