Well folks, here we are once again, facing a government shutdown if President Obama's LAW, the ACA, is not on the chopping block!  The teabagging caucus of obstructionist clowns are once again DEMANDING, with arms folded across chests and pacifiers in their mouths, that Congress defund Obamacare. EVEN though this is IMPOSSIBLE because it is not discretionary spending, but why let dumb facts like that stop dumb people from still DEMANDING it? Pussy faced dumb ass John Boner is caving to the baggers, he is a putrid disgrace and ALL of them need to be removed from OUR government in 2014! VOTE PEOPLE. VOTE!!!

Minimum wage debate...

  My cousin and I got into a conversation about the minimum wage and the plight of the fast food worker, she said McDonalds burger flippers should make 16.00 dollars an hour. I disagreed with her only because I thought it should mean there would have to be a restructuring of all wages, in all jobs across the country. How can a burger flipper make as much as a teacher with a masters? She said yes, all wages must go up! So where do we start? We have to realize fast food workers are not just teenagers any more, they are men and women supporting children and paying mortgages. Yes, fast food workers MUST picket, the minimum wage Must be raised, We can not let ourselves turn into a Third World nation with slave labor wages! Exactly what the Republicans and their ilk desire...

The rich didn't get rich through hard labor, their first million was most likely inherited and subsequent millions were made by the sweat and tears of their EMPLOYEES!! When is it OUR turn to reap the benefits of hard work? Those delusional Righties who continue to defend the 1% and their millions need to stop the masochistic thinking! McDonalds and Walmart are not gonna close their doors because there is a minimum wage hike! People are not gonna lose their jobs because there is a minimum wage hike! It will mean MORE money circulating around the country, the middle class SPENDS their paychecks, they don't stash extra cash in the Cayman's!

When workers make a living wage they can take care of themselves and their families without help from state and government programs. It's really not that hard to understand. But the 1% simply likes it the way it is, they spend millions lobbying  Washington to keep the minimum wage LOW.  And the wingnut lies just keep on and on...trickle down, it's a LIE. The poor are getting poorer and the Rich are getting Insanely Richer.....Nothing is gonna change. The Right wingers are blind sheep, heading for a life in a cardboard box, they'll just blame Obama....

Hi Bloggy friends, hope everyone is being good, I have missed the ones who I don't see every day on facebook!

So, lets see, we're having a beautiful Spring here in NJ, yesterday the AC was on, today it's cool and rainy! Been working on a new garden project, flowers are huge this year because of the weather! Hope you are having nice weather in your part of the country!

A lot going on in politics, big story is the tornado in Oklahoma and whether or not the GOP will send aid without first finding ways to cut programs that help the poor and middle class...fuckers. I did a little post on facebook, said this;

WAKE UP AMERICA!!!! THESE STORMS ARE GONNA KEEP HAPPENING, THERE WILL BE NATURAL DISASTERS IN EVERY STATE, BUT THE GOP WILL FIGHT TOOTH AND NAIL TO KEEP YOU FROM GETTING HELP FROM YOUR GOVERNMENT WHEN YOU MOST NEED IT!! DO NOT FORGET, THAT MONEY FOR AID IS OUR MONEY, THE GOVERNMENT IS NOT A CORPORATION, IT RUNS ON OUR MONEY!!!! THE GOP WILL DO NOTHING ABOUT CLIMATE CHANGE BECAUSE THEY SIMPLY BELIEVE THESES STORMS, FLOODS, EARTHQUAKES AND FIRES ARE PROPHESY!!! VOTE THEM OUT BEFORE THEY DESTROY US ALL!!

Two friends I've known since they were little girls unfriended me, accusing me of being heartless and sick!! LMAO! Heartless because I won't give the GOP a pass? Of course we all feel just terrible about the destruction caused by that monster tornado, thankfully the death toll was not larger! But the destruction by Sandy was just as horrific and with even more death and destruction, yet the GOP keep their heads buried up their asses, they will continue fighting aid until the people rise up and fight back! That money is OURS, not the GOP's!!

Go to any website, blog or facebook group written and commented on by Religious Righties and you will see why the GOP doesn't care about this country, our people, our environment, or our future! They believe we have no future, we are just in limbo waiting for the return of Jesus to sweep up the Godly ones, the SAVED ones, so fuck the evil ones and the country, they are waiting on their Lord to set up a new world for the "born againers"...sigh....

.President Obama must do all he can legislatively to get infrastructure spending passed, bridges are collapsing, people are driving on crumbling highways, mass transit is a national disgrace!! Spending is at record lows, the deficit is shrinking,  this is the time to spend on infrastructure and put men and women to work! If the GOP doesn't want to help then vote them out!!
