They might have put anywhere between $600 and maybe even upwards of $4000 back into the economy per the average Jane or Joe taxpayer.
The fact that republicans won't let the modest tax cuts for ordinary people stand while letting the million dollar cuts for the wealthy expire really speaks to who they are.
So, my buddy asks me if I have seen Romney at the beach. I say, "No, things were pretty low-key the last time he was in town." He says he saw Mitt walking down the street surrounded by ten private guards. Mitt is looking at his shoe. SF answered by changing the subject and accusing Sue of Bush Derangement Syndrome--the mirror image of Obama Derangement Syndrome, BTW, and then commented that Obama didn't bring us hope and change.
IOW, no answer to how tax cuts for the very wealthy help create jobs.
They don't. Tax cuts for the very wealthy make the very wealthy very wealthy. They do nothing for job creation and do everything to add to the deficit, BUT it was a big time GOPer, Big Dick Cheney, who said deficits don't matter--EXCEPT WHEN A DEMOCRAT IS IN OFFICE--then it's all his fault!
