I tuned in late to the GOP Clown fest on CNN last night, but not too late to hear a conversation that went on for what seemed like an eternity about the MOON of all subjects!! No, not a conversation about jobs and the economy, THE MOON, and how Newton wants to inhabit it, yes, colonize it with 13,000 residents, I shit you not!....Newt:."By the end of my second term [2020], we will have the first permanent base on the moon and it will be American," he told a cheering crowd in Cocoa, Florida, a town with links to the space industry. Pandering to Floridians by talking about a Space Program! "I want you to help me in Florida and across the country so you can someday say you were there the day it was announced that we’d have commercial space, moon colony and moving toward Mars. Cheers? because Newt thinks he'll be president for 8 yrs, or because he and his party will be headed out in space and never come back?  It's too good to be true...

The country is moving forward, the economy is improving, jobs numbers are up, the debt and deficit are still a problem, but the Newt has HUGE government intrusive plans to spend, according to experts, 100 billion to put Americans in condos on the MOON!  Would the Newt talk like this in North Dakota or Oregon?  No, he's a pig who criticizes Big Government spending and then turns around and spews this insane shit, and his followers CHEER.....I can't believe we are even discussing this...


 What a night, the only good thing about it was Barack Obama was the winner again..

Speaking of winners, the President and Democrats are steadily rising in the polls.  An  NBC/WSJ poll showed voters want a Democratic Congress, not a Republican one, by 6 percent (47 percent to 41 percent). This lead is double the advantage Democrats had in the last NBC/WSJ survey from December.

• On Tuesday, a National Journal poll found that 48 percent of voters prefer Democrats to take control of the House while 37 percent want Republicans to stay in control. In October, the same poll showed a statistical tie.

In January of 2010 before taking the majority, Republicans led in an NPR poll by 5 percent and by 3 percent in a CNN poll.
This week, former NRCC Chairman Tom Davis said that Democrats could retake control of the House and last week former RNC Chairman Michael Steele admitted the same.

 Aaaah lovely, my predictions will come true, I can feel it....Barack Obama will win in November and Democrats will take back the House. Republicans are making sure this all happens, every time they open their stupid mouths...

I am appalled but not surprised......

Tonight President Obama will give his third State of the Union Address, I will be in front of my TV watching, so will at least one GOP Congressman, Rep. Doug Lamborn, R-Colo., maybe 2, because they "don't (BOOFUCKINHOO) agree with the Obama agenda" and "This is just another campaign speech to bash the GOP", so they are not attending.  Just who do these GOP'ers think they are impressing by boycotting this special night for OUR president and OUR country?  The couple of fistfulls of rightwing haters? Wow, how mature, So cool to disrespect the office of the presidency...

How many times have you heard a conservative say "Obambie ran on uniting the country and all he's done is divide us"!! As far back as you can remember has there ever been a president whose own party turned on him because he spent toooooo much time kissing the ass of the other party???  This has been Barack Obama, pragmatist, reaching across the isle, bending over backwards to please the GOP who kicked him in the balls every single time!! This president HAS tried with everything he has to be a uniter, YOU would not allow it to happen. I don't know, maybe pure hate, stubbornness, jealousy, dumbassness...who knows, all I know is the time has come to flick the hard boogie (GOP) from your nose Mr. President and carry on....We are gonna watch with PRIDE tonight!!

Sick bastards! These conservative fanatics like Newt really want Armageddon. They are the ones pouring fuel on the flames. They have been seeking out the perfect war to end all wars for decades. I swear if conservatives get back the slightest bit of power we will see a war, it'll be their dream come true war. A war that will destroy the earth. They want to destroy the earth, they want to see God appear in the heavens and swoop them up! Sounds like radical Islam and the virgins doesn't it? So that's what Newt wants, his very own harem!!

  Fearmongering at it's best. If you're scared vote for Newt, but he can't save you, nobody can.

 To use the terms Obama first employed in his Inaugural Address: The president begins by extending a hand to his opponents; when they respond by raising a fist, he demonstrates that they are the source of the problem; then, finally, he moves to his preferred position of moderate liberalism and fights for it without being effectively tarred as an ideologue or a divider. This kind of strategy takes time. And it means there are long stretches when Obama seems incapable of defending himself, or willing to let others define him, or simply weak. He did the same thing during the campaign against Hillary Clinton and his strategy won out in the end.

 

 

If I sound biased, that’s because I am. Biased toward the actual record, not the spin; biased toward a president who has conducted himself with grace and calm under incredible pressure, who has had to manage crises not seen since the Second World War and the Depression, and who as yet has not had a single significant scandal to his name. “To see what is in front of one’s nose needs a constant struggle,” George Orwell once wrote. What I see in front of my nose is a president whose character, record, and promise remain as grotesquely underappreciated now as they were absurdly hyped in 2008. And I feel confident that sooner rather than later, the American people will come to see his first term from the same calm, sane perspective. And decide to finish what they started.

Oh yea sure, it was a long time ago, But why not talk about Family Values when it's at the heart of today's Republican Party? Can you imagine if our beautiful president and his gorgeous wife had an open marriage arrangement? No, me either, they are much to civilized, their marriage vows actually mean something to them. They LOVE each other! President Obama ADORES his wife, he cherishes her, he has FAMILY VALUES!!!

The New York Times‘ Charles Blow was disturbed enough to post a column at 2:30am that begins:

That’s the way I like to spend my Martin Luther King, Jr. Day: watching Newt Gingrich sneer at Juan Williams, a black man, for having the temerity to ask him if his condescending remarks about the work ethic of poor black people are indeed condescending[.]

Let’s start with Gingrich’s claim that “New York City pays their janitors an absurd amount of money because of the union.”
Both PolitiFact and FactCheck researched that last month and, not surprisingly, Gingrich is wrong. Yes, the starting pay for a custodial engineer is $55,625. But that is Gingrich’s “Master Janitor” position, a supervisory job that involves “hiring, training and supervising custodial staff; doing payroll; and maintaining and doing minor repairs to HVAC, boilers and plumbing.” Starting cleaners make only $15.77/hour, rising to $18.13/hour after two years.
Gingrich said the city could “hire 30 kids to work in the school for the price of one janitor.” The cleaner position is full-time, say 40 hours totaling $725.50/week. Divide that by 30 students, and it works out to $24/week per student. If each worked three hours a day after school, five days a week, each would be paid $1.60/hour. If that sounds familiar, perhaps that’s because it was the minimum wage when you got your first job … forty years ago.
Gingrich then revived his “food stamp president” rhetoric and, when challenged, doubled-down:

The fact is that more people have been put on food stamps by Barack Obama than any president in American history. Now, I know among the politically correct you are not supposed to use facts that are uncomfortable.

Never mind that President Obama inherited the Great Recession, caused by policies Gingrich advocated as Speaker in the 1990s. Never mind that two-thirds of food stamp recipients are white, that almost half are working, or that Gingrich opposes raising the minimum wage to help working Americans buy their own food.

Never mind any of that, because Gingrich’s answer wasn’t really about the minimum wage or school janitors or poverty. It was about turning white Americans’ frustration against black and brown Americans, so they won’t ask why Gingrich would give an average tax break of almost $2 million per year to the top 0.1% … and only $100 per month to average working Americans.

Dr. King would have asked that question. So should we all.

Flavor of the week...Wingnut EXTREMIST, Rick Santorum

 Lets start with this... Jennifer Rubin writes in the Washington Post ..Santorum is no extremist, in reality he has come to be seen as a practical politician rather than an ideological zealot.  REALLY Jennifer?

Well let's take a look at the Santorum agenda if he should become the Jesus candidate...

One of Santorum's quotes: “One of the things I will talk about, that no president has talked about before, is I think the dangers of contraception in this country. It’s not okay. It’s a license to do things in a sexual realm that is counter to how things are supposed to be. [Sex] is supposed to be within marriage. It’s supposed to be for purposes that are yes, conjugal…but also procreative. That’s the perfect way that a sexual union should happen…This is special and it needs to be seen as special.”

 Santorum believes sex should be between one man and one woman, they need to be married first, and use NO birth control!

Santorum wants to take away your right to fuck whomever you damn well please in the privacy of your home! And don't be nasty, I mean 2 consenting adults.... Outlawing birth control??  No wonder he was endorsed by the Duggar family with their 19 children!   Next he'll be outlawing masturbation because sperm washed down the shower drain means dead babies...and what about hysterectomies? All those lost eggs from the womans ovaries!! That's criminal!


Rick Santorum hates gays. He claims he doesn't, but you can tell he is repulsed by gay sex. In fact I think he is obsessed with gay sex,  any sex for that matter!  He says the US Federal Government has the power to outlaw homosexuality, and to enforce that law by federal law enforcement, dragging alleged gays before a federal court to sentence them to prison for the crime of committing homosexual acts. So how would he do this, by outlawing our privacy?  He says the right to privacy doesn't exist in the Constitution. So therefore your individual freedom means nothing to him, all he cares about is banning homosexuality because it's destroying the basic unit of our society!  Man, woman, and a shitload of kids, this is his America!

Like all Teapublicans, Santorum believes the liberals (actually Gays) are indoctrinating our children.  Santorum:“Let’s look at what’s going to be taught in our schools because now we have same sex couples being the same and their sexual activity being seen as equal and being affirmed by society as heterosexual couples and their activity. So what is going to be taught to our people in health class in our schools? What is going to be taught to our children about who in our stories, even to little children — what are married couples? What families look like in America? So, you are going to have in our curriculum spread throughout our curriculum world view that is fundamentally different than what is taught in schools today? Is that not a consequence of gay marriage?”
See? Sex pervert, it's all consuming...


Here's a good one, Santorum says the government has the right to limit people from pursuing their dreams. He disagrees with the idea that states don't have the right to limit individuals wants and passions. He believes they do have the right because there are consequences to letting people live out whatever wants or passions they desire. HUH??  Is this about more sex?


Santorum, today, called for immediate cuts to Social Security benefits, BENEFITS CUTS! He thinks by saying this he will garner support from the people? WOW! Now we are seeing some real stooooopid... He supports the Ryan budget plan too, “ I think it’s the right direction on the major points. I can’t say I’ve read all of it, but on the major thrust of what he’s doing, I support what he wants to do with Medicare, Medicaid. The only thing I would do, frankly, as I’ve said publicly many times, I think we should implement a lot of these things sooner than what he’s suggesting.” What he's saying is, his plan is to kill Medicare and Medicaid...





I guess you get the idea, this man is dangerous. I don't believe for a minute he can beat President Obama if he should get the GOP nomination, but it is our job to highlight the stoopid and the dangerous...

Speaking of stupid, I unfortunately got involved in a conversation on Facebook with a couple of teabagger Obama haters...this woman was amused by a posting that said Obama has no heart, brains, or balls....here is her comment,

Mary, love your great posts! I couldn't agree more! I can't believe anyone would want 4 more years of this crap! It amazes me that some people can be so taken by this man who has done nothing but bring this country down. And if they think he has done such a great job so far....just wait and see what this dicktator will do in the next four years if, god forbid, he gets the chance. If Americans are stupid enough to vote him in again, they (not us) deserve the destruction of their freedoms he will bring! Keep up the good work of irritating your liberals friends! Love it!

Romney's attacks are based on desperation......

Chancellor Merkel of Germany described President Obama as the most "inconspicuous world leader I have ever met. He carries none of the pomp or prestige of the office and instead treats it as the most important job in the world, not for himself but for the citizens he serves and represents. He is the furthest thing from any government ruler as I have encountered in all my years."

The Righties like to say President Obama is the worst president in our history, that he has done nothing positive since taking office, that he has been a failure....dream on haters!! 

One of the worst GOP'ers to attack the president is Mitt Romney. He loves calling President Obama a failure, Romney's just another rightwing hypocrite. So while he condemns Obama for spending to get us out of a depression, he has amnesia when it comes to Ronald Reagan and his spending which was around the 25% level as compared with the GDP into his second year in office.  The tough economic times Reagan experienced and the spending he was forced to do was all fine and dandy with people like Romney, but for President Obama the spending is killing us and we MUST make sure Obama is a one termer before he destroys us completely! What a hypocrite!

Reagan was a God to the GOP, and Obama is a failure....BOTH presided over a period when federal spending reached roughly 25% of the GDP...

Here's Romney's attack line... “Over the past three years, Barack Obama has been replacing our merit-based society with an entitlement society. The federal government has insinuated itself more and more deeply into health care, finance, energy, industry, the environment, and labor. What makes these GOOPER candidates let loose with such ridiculous assertions?? Those of us paying attention KNOW the damage done by the Bush Era has lingered in the Obama years and will take YEARS to clean up...this happened when the Hoover depression lingered into the FDR years...

Dream on Mitt Romney, you WILL NOT be president in 2012. But we can hope you will be the GOP nominee so president Obama can set straight all your lies....

When I was around 12 yrs old my religious fanatic Dad took Christmas away from his 6 children, my submissive and scared Mom said nothing.. My little sister and brother were just 5 and 6 yrs old! Their whole childhood was spent with NO Santa, No Christmas tree, No presents! At least I had Christmas up until I was 12....

It was a Pagan holiday Dad says....along with Easter, Halloween, ...But Christmas??? I was so embarrassed I hid it from my friends, never letting them come inside to see my "presents". What would they think, There was nobody like my Dad in our neighborhood! That was 44 yrs ago...it did not rub off on any of us kids, one by one each of us left home, married, and had Christmas....

Santa....Satan...????  Play that damn scary music and Religious scaredtodeath Righties will believe anything!
