Hi Bloggy friends, hope everyone is being good, I have missed the ones who I don't see every day on facebook!
So, lets see, we're having a beautiful Spring here in NJ, yesterday the AC was on, today it's cool and rainy! Been working on a new garden project, flowers are huge this year because of the weather! Hope you are having nice weather in your part of the country!
A lot going on in politics, big story is the tornado in Oklahoma and whether or not the GOP will send aid without first finding ways to cut programs that help the poor and middle class...fuckers. I did a little post on facebook, said this;

Two friends I've known since they were little girls unfriended me, accusing me of being heartless and sick!! LMAO! Heartless because I won't give the GOP a pass? Because they can't take the heat, can't stand me calling out their precious republican party for the evil pricks they are? Oh well good riddance, enjoy your stupid and hateful GOP....
Of course we all feel just terrible about the destruction caused by that monster tornado, thankfully the death toll was not larger! But the destruction by Sandy was just as horrific and with even more death and destruction, yet the GOP keep their heads buried up their asses, they will continue fighting aid until the people rise up and fight back! That money is OURS, not the GOP's!!
Go to any website, blog or facebook group written and commented on by Religious Righties and you will see why the GOP doesn't care about this country, our people, our environment, or our future! They believe we have no future, we are just in limbo waiting for the return of Jesus to sweep up the Godly ones, the SAVED ones, so fuck the evil ones and the country, they are waiting on their Lord to set up a new world for the "born againers"...sigh....

.President Obama must do all he can legislatively to get infrastructure spending passed, bridges are collapsing, people are driving on crumbling highways, mass transit is a national disgrace!! Spending is at record lows, the deficit is shrinking, this is the time to spend on infrastructure and put men and women to work! If the GOP doesn't want to help then vote them out!!

Nothing is gonna get done in this country, like bridge and road repair, until we get a Dem super majority in Congress.
We have infrastructure work that desperately needs to be done. We have high unemployment. The deficit is coming down and interest rates are so low that the government can borrow money essentially for free.
The solution is obvious. Only the Republicans, who want things to stay bad because they think it makes Obama look bad, stand in the way.
I don't think they're going to have a very good 2014. They keep flogging their phony scandals (I call them "scamdals"), not even noticing that it's driving their own approval rating down and the Democrats' up.
San Diego has been alternately cool with blue skies or sunny and hot. Which has been wonderful for my tomato and corn seedlings. We just finished digging up a fairly good size area for a corn patch. Green beans are poking up their first leaves. Tomatoes and lemon tree are flowering. Roses, Lipstick Hibiscuses. All the California natives are tipped with new growth, including my Manzanita and a real Cottonwood tree. Just beautiful. No rain since April. That corn is going to end up costing $3.00 an ear in water. But grocery store corn ain't what it used to be out West. Lots of herbs and things starting from seed.
I'll be very surprised if the next election results in a Democratic super majority. The solution may be obvious to us, but to much of the apathetic public it is not. The Repubs are flogging these phony scamdals for that exact reason. For those who they don't convince they will discourage... people won't vote because they think all politicians are the corrupt.
It's going to be non-stop scamdals until the midterms at least... and probably beyond that for the rest of Obama's second term. The Repubs will make sure nothing gets down (no infrastructure no matter how many bridges fall down and kill people)... although they'll probably try to repeal the Affordable Care Act a few more times.

what happened with all that so stimulus money that was supposed to go to infrastructure projects? Didn't you see all the signs across the country? Probably got laundered through failed green companies like all the money the Dem's get,it just burns a hole in their pockets. Keep dreaming if you believe the dems really care. Just because President Hope and Change tells you what you want to hear doesn't make it true.

no but it sure got wasted plus all the tolls that keep rising on bridges and gas tax is supposed to be used for these projects. You just love to blame Republicans for everything and give way too much credit to the democrats who are no less sleazy but perhaps even more by promising things they can't deliver on
How are your doggies Lisa? Do you still have that beautiful Aberdeen Terrier? I have two big red golden retrievers, William Robert and Chauncey. They are a little over seven and one half years old. They have the most beautiful white hairs on their snouts and William is getting a white-tipped tail.
I live in NJ too, we have had three bridges reconstructed thanks to the President. While I don't agree with everything he does, he has made our roads safer.

After seeing your comment there I wondered how things were going on your blog and decided to check in. The ensuing discussion is quite revealing, IMO. Sue's readers might want to check it out here.
In response to my comments on Lisa's blog someone who calls himself "kid" proclaimed that I am "stale, unintelligent, and a bore". I think the extent to which conservatives like those who hang out on Lisa's blogs worship the wealthy is stunning. If you're a wealthy "job creator" Kid basically bows down and worships at your feet. I think it's indicative of a serious sickness cons suffer from... a sickness that makes them extremely compliant slaves to their wealthy masters.
Some things just never change. Lisa is still an idiot. Oh hum.
