OH PAAALEEEESE, I can't take anymore whining and complaining from Lefties!

One of my new FB friends recommended I read President Obama's books, Audacity of Hope, Dreams of my Father, and also the book about his Mother, A Singular Woman. He said this after I left a comment saying how I believed the presidents second term will be so much better than his first. My friend agreed and said Obama is a true leader but unfortunately WE failed him in 2010 and are suffering the results WE are responsible for. That is so true, and for all the Obama supporters who have jumped off the band wagon because they haven't gotten 100% of their demands met, I feel sorry for you.

What oh what will you be saying in 2013 if we have one of those incompetent Republicans sitting in the White House? Is the mess we are in today because of the president and his policies, or is it because the president can't move through Congress his agenda we were so hopeful for? The latter, correct? So if we don't get off our fat, lazy asses and vote out those good for nothing GOPers that are up for re-election, and if we don't fight with everything we have to re-elect Barack Obama in 2012, what then will we have to complain about? Surely we won't be crying because the eligibility age for SS might be raised, or that there is no public option, or there could be cuts to Medicare.... these will seem so trivial to what will happen if a GOPer is elected to the presidency! Can you even imagine a Republican Senate majority and a Republican president?? SS, privatized, Medicare=vouchers, NO healthcare for millions... we'll have nobody to blame but ourselves....

Right now, at this time in our country's history, we have a wise man looking over us, he has given up everything in his life to be President of these United States. He loves us and our country that much! He especially loves our young people, for they are our future.... Do you want to go back to Republican rule??(((shudder)))) Think about it the next time you want to whine and complain about something so trivial...

Well, anything I could say would just be redundant and I've made my position pretty clear about these reprobates. Anymore I don't care to get into discussions with them because they have the same mind-set that the people on the far-right have. And they have become unbelievably ugly. So, I'm an Obamabot. Fine. I'm comfortable with that.

I HATE fucking PUMAs worse than republicans.

Sue,

You're blog is a valuable public service. I must make one correction, because it is such a fascinating story. A Singular Woman was written by NYT reporter, Janny Scott. She took two years off of her regular gig to investigate various sources. This article, which just about blew my mind, explains how the president only gave her one interview. The story is pieced together from interviews with her American acquaintances in Indonesia, including academics and a houseboy who worked in the Obama household. The story of Stanley Ann Dunham's life in Indonesia with her second husband is sketched out pretty well in this article. It's quite a read.

The three books ought to make a pretty nice Christmas or birthday present for somebody!

thank you FJ. How embarrassing for me, an Obamabot, to not have read his books. My birthday is in December...

This is a beaut - how 6 Dems voted against closing Gitmo and Obama gets the blame because these jerks don't bother looking below the headline.

I saw that...Obama gets blamed if he doesn't wipe the right way. The country is fucked up wacky!!

I'm stayin' positive, fuck all the others! I know what we have in our president, I know the kind of man he is..

L, I just asked my FB friend which phrase he considered correct(he has a page called ObamaCrats) he says Obamabot sounds like a robot who can't think for themselves, so we need to say ObamaCrats. So, I'm all for it, I'm a proud ObamaCrat!

I'm glad I asked JB...here's what the Urban dictionary says about ObamaBot

Obamabot

A person who supports Obama and is willing to vote for him but doesn't know a thing about him.
It's just a label for someone who doesn't know anything about Obama. You call them a Obamabot because they just spew out their support but have nothing else to show.

The vote to close (as in, to provide the funding for) Gitmo was 90-6 AGAINST. Only 6 brave Senators (yes, all of them Democrats) had the chutzpah to support the President here. Courage (political courage anyway) is clearly a thing of the past, I think.

If we liberals do not fight to keep Obama in the white house with everything we've got then we deserve to lose.

Anyone who wont support him simply because he hasn't accomplished 100% of what we want will never be happy with anyone!

Great post Sue, you rock!!!

While the Democrats are far from perfect, the republicans are not even in the race.

People need to ask themselves one question -- would I prefer to have Obama make the next few Supreme Court appointments, or would I prefer to see Bachmann (or even Romney) do it?

Ron Paul sounds about right Infidel753.

Ron Paul? Look at what 2 1/2 years of the presidency has done to Mr. Obama's hair. Ron Paul may have lots of talent and may be a strong libertarian leader [even if I disagree with most of his philosophy.], but I'm afraid he's past his prime as a potential leader. If he were elected, he'd be 78 years old!

Mr. Obama would be approaching his 52nd birthday.

PS. Allow me to brag a bit, Sue.

I couldn't agree more...Proud to be an Obamacrat, too- there is simply too much at stake. Not one situation that would not be made devistatingly worse by Republican or the (fake+funded-by-Koch-dollars) Tea Party member in power. Our job is to make sure we not only get President Obama re-elected, but we rid Congress of the horrid mistakes that were made. Each day we learn what happens when the 'Tea Party' morons attempt to legislate. They don't have the slightest comprehension of the Constitution- the document they're constantly waving around. Time to find common ground on our side, and kick some Republican butt. This is not dress rehersal. It's the real thing.

mornin everyone, so glad to have this conversation with you all!

yes Will, see Obama is NOT always the one to blame for broken promises. It takes more than one person to shake things up. And he's having a tough time rounding up his movers and shakers..

Virgil, Jerry Infidel, The majority of Americans wanted Barack Obama to be our president and I believe they still do. We just need to turn up the volume on the left and tune out the false reporting coming from the right. They are running scared and when that happens sparks start flying.

RN, Ron Paul over Barack Obama?? Never in a million yrs will that happen!

Shaw that is beautiful! You have a very talented granddaughter!

Sue said...

hi skip 2, Glad to have you as an ObamaCrat!

I hope the left gets moving, you're right, this is serious business! The WORSE thing to happen in our politics in the past 3 yrs is the Tea Party morons. Just how can this minority come into our states and government and think they can dictate policy?? It's mind boggling!

Obama got my vote and he will get it again...but forget the "crat" part of Obamacrat...

Its the democrats in Congress that cause my blood to boil...if you want to know where all the moderates are nowadays...just look to the democrats in Congress.

Sanders in the only senator that speaks up and you have a couple of house members outside of that the rest of them could caucus with Boehner and McConnell....
