That's nothing short of amazing. Basically, either he used to be a nicer, decent, more intelligent politician ten years ago and somebody got to him and turned him into a total attack dog sharkie-boy extremist to further his political career...

Or more likely, he is lying his fucking ass off and he really should be supporting the president, much like his new boss, that lying turd Romney.

that's because in 2002 with a republican majority it would not have been wasted on failed companies like this admin has while investing in other country's economies instead of ours.

No lisa, in 2002 the republican'ts were planning on wasting over a trillion dollars killing Iraqis, based on their LIES about weapons of mass destruction.

Wasting over a trillion dollars in a foreign company is what the republican'ts achieved in 2002.

Oh yea and getting over 4000 Americans killed based on republican'ts lies and spin.

I know all of you lovable republicans and libertarians have long since disowned GWB, but this one is for the hundreds of thousands wounded in combat, suffering from PTSD or coming home to no job or foreseeable future.

From my epistle of January 2006 when I was possibly the first American to predict the trillion dollar price tag of this war. Stated cost at the time, $250 Billion. I'd peg it a three trillion plus about now. They never will give us an accurate accounting. The cost of caring for veterans and the human cost in their pain can never be calculated. We are just throwing good money after bad trying to recover all of the FOBs, vehicles, weapons systems, etc.

When thinking Americans, reeling from the successful propaganda of American service personnel wearing chemical suits in the desert furnace of the Iraqi summer, were absolutely horrified by the slow, inexorable march to war, Dennis [Miller] was cheerfully prostituting himself for the neo-conservative chicken hawks. This apparent glee was caused by the televised firebombing and Navy shelling of the city of Baghdad.
Also... now that the "thin green line" report has been made public, it might do to talk about the squandering of the wealth and assets of the most powerful military in the world. We all knew when the enormous Navy cargo vessels were being loaded to the gunwhales with humvees, fighting vehicles and every imaginable type of equipment that none of that equipment would ever return to the U.S. or any other strategic location in the world. The president would have his war no matter what, even as he lied through his teeth about it being Saddam who chose this war. Probably the gas needed to ship all that stuff across the Atlantic caused the oil shortage. If the stated cost of the war is hovering around 250 gigadollars, you know that does not include assets that were already paid for, fuel, or a thousand other hidden costs. The sad part is that even if every American believed that the war would eventually cost more than a trillion dollars, there will someday be 3,000 American dead, and somehow became aware of Iraqi casualties and miraculously actually gave a damn, there would still be those who said it was the right thing to do.

Republicans brought us the longest, most expensive and unjust wars of all time.

I think some conservatives are going through buyers remorse after the look at Ryan's Big Spending Conservative record.

It's beyond hilarious to read Lisa's excuses for why it's okay for Big Spending Conservatives to go on spending sprees.

Ryan's lifetime of enjoying government help and largess, being a career politician, and his Big Spending Conservative record make him the perfect trifecta of a government-made man.

Oh, and now he, along with Willard, are the leaders of the neo-Sharia Party, the GOP, that wants all abortions, from legitimate or illegitimate rape, and even incest, to be ILLEGAL.

IOW, Romney/Ryan's positions on rape are the EXACT same as the idiot Todd Akins'.

Lisa... thank you so much for showing us just how political the GOP opposition can be...

You and your ilk are the folks that are killing politics. The view that it is only bad when the Dems do it, even though the underlying principle is the same is blatantly partisan.

You have always tried to say that the GOP is the party of principles but when that lie is exposed, then just like you did, people obfuscate to our side is less corrupt than yours.

If government spending is wrong, then it is wrong no matter who does it, but as your statement points out, it is only wrong when the other side does it.

However, like many two faced Republicans, you cannot stand to see light illuminating the fact the GOP is not the paragon of virtue they have tried to portray...
