#Hillary2016 !!!

I can't believe it's been a year since I've been here. I'm a little nervous to write something, you all are so much better at blogging than I. I've lost my ability,  I think, to write down my thoughts.

So how has everyone been? I see some of you on facebook, Matty (he's the one who said I should come back to blogging, love my brotha from anotha motha), Leslie Parsley, my longtime bloggy friend and now facebook friend, Joe Hagstrom who I don't see a lot of but maybe here? Shaw Kenawe, an amazing and courageous friend, ....who am I forgetting? See, my brain is fried.

Here we are, 2015, campaign season really heating up! It's been good so far, right? Trump leading the clown parade, Driving the clown car!  Do you think he'll stay in and become the GOP nominee? I don't see any of the other buffoons getting traction, not even Carly Fiorina who lied through her teeth the other night! Planned Parenthood harvesting body parts, a fetus on the table with it's legs kicking? Who the hell is she talking to? Morons, I forgot...

My choice for 2016 is Hillary!! Yup I'm supporting Hillary, have since forever! I voted for her in the primary last time around and Obama in the general. But never lost my admiration for her. I believe with all my heart she will be our next president. How is the Bernie vs Hillary debate in blogland going? On facebook it's very heated, people arguing left and right, longtime friends fighting, blocking each other....it's sad really. My side believes with all their being Hillary is the most qualified and if Bernie is nominated then we'll lose in the general because republicans won't help the Dems and vote for a socialist. This is the main thing that scares me, I don't think Bernie can win the general, hell only a small percentage of the electorate actually know who he is! Hillary learned from her mistakes in '08, her campaign is moving right along with precision, she has amassed a large number of endorsements and super delegates already this early in the campaign, something she learned from her primary fight against Obama. I honestly do not see Bernie catching up.He has no endorsements from any sitting Dem Senator, House member, or governor! Hillary has endorsements from 30 Senators, 7 governors, and more than 100 House members, that's impressive! And in that group is Vermonters Pat Leahy and Gov. Shumlin! Sorry but that speaks volumes. Is it because Bernie is not a Democrat and has not always been a fair supporter of Democrats, including some critical remarks about President Obama?  Hillary's campaign is working at the local level too, in state governments and even school elections to get Democrats elected. We have to get the freaks and frauds out of leadership positions, they are destroying this country one state at a time.

My hope is we All come together in the end and vote for the Democratic nominee, I know I will! We can't let one of those hideous incompetent loser republicans back in the White House! They've had the Majority in Congress since 2011 and we have seen NOTHING from them! They are frauds who hate our government and are there because of the money, No other reason! They do NOTHING we the people demand from them...I hate them with every fiber of my being.

      How proud you must be feeling today about your childish tweets to say good riddance to a great American who served his country with honor. The list of his accomplishments is long and impressive, but you wouldn't know anything about long impressive lists of accomplishments....His love for country is evident in every move he made whether it be civil rights, voting rights, criminal justice....His passion, compassion, and courage is extraordinary...but what do you know about compassion and courage?....
   You have vilified this good man throughout the years, your relentless attacks, your attempts to smear his reputation, none of it put a blemish on his record. It will be Eric Holder and Barack Obama in the history books, side by side, as two of the great leaders, not YOU republicans, you repulsive, repugnant, irrelevant haters.....
    So carry on with your little tweets, your 10% brainwashed base thinks they are funny, the rest of us can't wait to vote you out of existence.

March for change!!

Over 300,000 take to the streets in NYC taking a stand against climate change. All across the globe were similar marches. It takes the Liberals to make change, WE are the believers, the doers, the planners.. All change for the betterment of the world comes from The Left. 

Google all the articles about the marches because the news shows are not talking about it. Read the comments too from the deniers, they are so ill-informed, a bunch of ignoramuses. Here's one I found..."This is a perfect example of how a bunch of misguided people can unite around non-essential causes in ways that won't affect anything. I'm sure your children's children's children will thank you for your bravery. Here's a cookie." 

Thankfully the ignorant are a minority...I told her I hoped she would be buried by a blizzard sure to come to a state near you as early as next month...

I know the Democratic party has a far left wing but what they want for America is certainly not extreme when you look at the Far Right and the America they favor...Check out the differences....

We believe that the purpose of government is to advance the common good, to secure and protect our rights, and to help to create a high quality of life and community well-being. We want decent paying jobs and benefits for workers and sustainable economic growth. We want growing businesses producing the world’s best products and services. We want an economy that works for everyone, not just the few. We want all nations to uphold universal human rights and to work together to solve common challenges. This is what a progressive America looks like.
 
Now for the Far Right, ...The Tea Party....Far-right politics commonly includes authoritarianism, anti-communism, and nativism. Often, the term "far right" is applied to fascists and neo-Nazis, and major elements of fascism have been deemed clearly far-right, such as its belief that supposedly superior people have the right to dominate society while purging allegedly inferior elements, and — in the case of Nazism — genocide of people deemed to be inferior. Claims that superior people should proportionally have greater rights than inferior people are sometimes associated with the far right. The far right has historically favored an elitist society based on belief of the legitimacy of the rule of a supposed superior minority over the inferior masses. Far-right politics usually involves anti-immigration and anti-integration stances towards groups that are deemed inferior and undesirable. Concerning the sociocultural dimension (nationality, culture and migration), one far-right position could be the view that certain ethnic, racial or religious groups should stay separate, and that the interests of one’s own group should be prioritized.

Take some time and look at legislation the Tea Party proposes in states and in Washington. Extremism including murder of abortion doctors encouraged, dismantling programs for the poor, privatizing Social Security and Medicare which really means get rid of them they cost too much, ZERO abortion even if the Mothers life is at risk, guns in the hands of all Americans so they can defend themselves against government, a hate for public education, a hate for science, no regards to our environment, bloated military, ....

The residents of 4224 Escondito Circle in a posh gated-community in Sarasota, Florida, abandoned everything and hurriedly fled in a white van. Two weeks later, Saudi terrorists flew hijacked planes into the World Trade Center.
     The home on Escondito Circle was owned by Esam Ghazzawi, a Saudi national and longtime advisor to a high-level Saudi prince. Ghazzawi’s daughter, Anoud, and her husband, Abdulazzi al-Hiijii, and their small children were the residents. License plates automatically photographed by the gatehouse show that Mohamed Atta and Ziad Jarrah were visitors to the home. Subpoenaed phone records connect Walid al-Shehhri to the home. He was on the plane with Mohamed Atta – the first plane to fly into the World Trade Center. The FBI tied 10 other terrorists to the home.
Venice, Florida is 10 miles away from the home on Escondito. Mohamed Atta, Marwan al-Shehhi, and Ziad Jarrah, all lived in Venice for most of 2001, leading up to 9/11. Atta and al-Shehhi took flying lessons at Huffman Aviation, at the Venice city airport. Jarrah got his pilot’s license from Florida Flight Training, a block away from the Venice airport. He was at the controls of Flight 93 when it crashed in Shanksville.
     Emma E. Booker Elementary School located at 2350 Dr. Martin Luther King Way is 10.2 miles away from 4224 Escondito Circle. Bush was reading a fairy tale to children at Booker on the morning of September 11, 2001 when the first plane hit the building.
     Thirty-six days earlier the CIA had delivered a memo to the vacationing Bush in Crawford warning him that Osama bin-Laden was determined to strike inside the US and that he wanted to use hijacked planes. The unreleased daily briefings (leading up to that one released memo) have been seen in portions by journalists who say the earlier warnings were more dire and imminent and had been consistently given to Bush since the Spring of 2001.
     I remember where I was. I remember what I felt. I remember a heart-broken county. I remember a unified country. I remember a swell of pride watching President Bush standing on the rubble with a megaphone. I remember the solidarity as we all tuned in to watch the prayer service, three days later at the National Cathedral. I remember the dean of the cathedral, a black minister, praying, and no one caring about the color of his skin. I remember a black pastor of a Methodist church in Houston reading scripture and no one saying that he wasn’t “one of us.” I remember a Jewish rabbi reading the Hebrew lesson from Lamentations and no one saying he “killed Jesus.” I remember Iman Muzammil Siddiqi of the Islamic Society of North America, praying, and no one saying that he was a terrorist or that his Koran advocates the killing of Christians. I remember the Catholic archbishop of Washington reading scripture with no one worrying that the church was trying to take over the state.
I remember the physical frailties of Billy Graham and the humbleness and sincerity of his prayer. I don’t remember him questioning the sincerity of the president’s faith, as his son would later do with President Obama.
     I don’t remember liberals blaming Bush for the attack, as conservatives would do with President Obama exactly 11 years later when a diplomatic outpost would be attacked by terrorists. I don’t remember liberals accusing Bush of giving a “stand down” order to those protecting our country so the attack could proceed unimpeded. I don’t remember liberals accusing Bush of secretly wanting the enemy to succeed, even though he was very near the probable planning-house on the morning of the attacks; allowed a plane-load of Saudis to flee the country when all other fights were grounded; held hands and kissed-on-the-mouth with the Saudi crown prince at the Crawford ranch.
Liberals stood with Bush in spite of their disappointment over the Supreme Court stepping in, with no precedent, and shutting down a state’s recount, essentially appointing Bush to be president. Liberals stood with Bush from the time he looked up from reading the fairy tale in Sarasota, through the time he stood on the rubble, hosted the prayer service, and invaded Afghanistan. We only lost step with him in 2003 when he abandoned the mission and invaded an unrelated country which had no connections whatsoever to 9/11.
     What I will never understand, and what has never been articulated by any conservative, is why they hate President Obama...why they hate him so much that they will give aid and comfort to ISIL by attacking President Obama in front of the world and accusing him of being in cahoots with ISIL...why they hate him so much that they would embolden Putin by attacking President Obama in front of the world and saying that he looks “weak” compared to Putin.
      I’m still waiting on a reason for their hatred. And at least for the ones in the Teavangelical wing of the conservatives, they really need to come up with a reason. Because according to their interpretation of the Bible, one day they will have to give an account to God for their hatred.

President Obama IS the True Leader....

How dare they post this simply to dishonor and disrespect our  sitting President during yet another terror threat!

How dare they when President Obama works to keep safe ALL Americans, even the most vile haters....

Why can't I ignore this kind of hate? Why after all these years does it still affect me so deeply? Makes me physically ill....I think they know that, it's why they do it.

The punch that shocked the world...

There's ONE thing bothering me, (besides the horrific punch of course)...why is everyone assuming Janay Rice is an abused woman living in a home with an abuser? Could it be it was a fight between two people that escalated into a knockout punch and NOT a relationship full of spousal abuse? I don't know what is going on behind those doors, do you? Has she said she's an abused woman, are there signs you know about that I don't? Is it possible? Of course, but can we stop assuming she's in desperate need of help without knowing anything about their marriage? If you know something I don't please enlighten me. And I don't mean should he or should he not lose his job....
Believe it or not a man can punch a woman once in a fit of anger or drunken stupor and never do it again.
