No, I don't think he should resign. But I am soooo pissed off at the hypocrites on both sides of the aisle. Actually, I think I'm more disgusted with the spineless Dems and the media.
Eric Cantor (yes, the chap is being quite hypocritical) is the least of Mr. Weiner's problems. 8 Democratic Congressmen and the former DNC chief, Mr. Caine, are also asking that the fellow resign. My suspicion here is that the Democratic party will probably end up devouring its young on this (though, yes, I concur, it's his constituents who SHOULD ultimately decide).
Just for the record, I wouldn't want MY teenage daughter to be in the same room with Vitter OR Weiner. HELL NO!!
The republicans control the house and clearly have the seats to censure Little Anthony and his owner. What they lack is any moral courage behind their convictions. Why the hell don't they do anything by the book?? Because it's easier just to call Rush Limbaugh or Roger Ailes and ask them to help shape a media response. They can't do anything unless is plastered across the right-wing hate media. They are paralyzed to act in a rational and adult manner.
"THEY DID IT TOO!!!" is the Rushpubliscum catechism. Well it isn't mine, and this clown has betrayed a public trust. It is becoming clearer by the day that he's not only unethical, he's probably a criminal to boot.
Let the Rushpubliscums pray for their weirdoes, and make up excuses for them. I want this clown gone.
