I miss George Harrison so much.
Those earlier sepia toned pictures could have been from the 1940's, with the skeletal human beings and death and mayhem, but those were mainly contemporary photos. It's so sad that we try to change human misery by foolishly creating even more of it.
I read Mitch Albom's HAVE A LITTLE FAITH, and have been working on a blog entry reviewing it and talking about it's life's lessons. It follows the same path as his previous TUESDAYS WITH MORRIE, in that Mitch reconnects with the rabbi he he grew up with in South Jersey (he's your homey, Sue) and deals with little nuggets of shared wisdom about life.
His final paragraph ties in nicely with this video....
"God sings, we hum along, and there are many melodies, but it's all one song- one same, wonderful human song.
I am alive with hope".
George Harrison could have sung the same thing.

It's so true what you say about wanting to change the lives of others we consider living in misery, but we cause so much more misery by sticking our nose into countries we have no business being in. INVADING, I should say.

RZ, I'm having a hard time with Obamas stance on these wars too, But I have to try and understand a country just can't pack up and move out of a country overnight just because we changed leaders. To leave behind a destroyed country that we destroyed, must be hard for a new president who didn't take us to war there to begin with. Bushs war, but he got to walk away and leave the mess to someone else. The guy should be in jail!!

On another subject. You were absolutely correct. That screed I posted on my blog highlighting Beck's followers is definitely malcontent.
He's become a woman who blogs under the name "Just Sue," and has been throwing hissy fits over what I said to her/him on someone else's blog when she/he attacked me. What I said was quite mild, but mal's been pooping green bricks over it for days, writing tirades about me on his new "Just Sue" blog and on other conservative blogs.

That mal is hilarious! I wonder if he works for a living, he seems to have way too much time on his hands. It's pretty telling what kind of person he is and pretty pitiful excuse of a Marine! He should be ashamed of himself for representing the military and act so devious!
