How do you think the righties are "gonna get right" with the latino voters? Looks like maybe we liberal bloggers can relax and have some fun because the GOP are doing enough damage to their party to last for generations. They have tried everything in their book of tricks to win over the people, starting with fearmongering and ending with Obama the anti-christ. They are null and void... ain't life grand!!

Please take me to their leader.
The GOP can not find themselves much less the Latino vote.
They do not have any one who speaks for them as one.
Troops will be sent to the border for a show of force, and a little dog and pony show.
The repubs will want more troops. If Obama sends 3 Mc Insane will want 6, and so on.
Once the troops are more or less in place. The repubs will take political credit for securing the border. Then they will jump on the band wagon for comprehensive immigration reform.
They are not stupid.
They see the numbers, and the demographics. A few repubs will need the Latino vote to get reelected.
The repubs will need the Latino vote in order to survive.
We will be hearing more from Jeb Bush in the very near future.
Even the CFR [Council on Foreign Relations] is backing immigration reform.
TICK TOCK.
Then the tea party can boil in their own dribble of hatred and lies.
Will the Latino's who fall for the ploy that is no doubt coming to bring them into the fold understand that the right will screw them even harder.
Way to go, repubs, just keep marginalizing yourselves. Latinos, another group you can alienate. You can have all the rich white guys. There are not enough of them to get you elected.

When the GOP used terror as a tactic to win power, the country was in a different frame of mind, I can't see the majority of sane voters falling for their horseshit schemes again. Lets hope the majority stays sane!

Hispanics are a diverse segment of our population (geographically, linguistically, and by degree of assimilation.)
How do the conduct polls of "Hispanics?" by lists of last names? There are people with Hispanic last names that are indistinguishable from "white people."
There are Hispanics with non-Hispanic names who are culturally Hispanic...
Also, what do you consider Hispanic? Do you really think someone from Argentina, the Carribean, and Spain have a natural affinity and think and vote the same way?

The only idiots who have claimed the rancher's murder was due to an illegal immigrant is the right-wing medea. The unknown illegal has already been tried and convicted by these know-nothings who don't bother to use standard procedure - which is to say "alledged."
Now, the ((responsible)) media has alledged that the rancher was killed by a drug scout. They even have the name of a suspect, who has an American name but may not be American or Mexican, and he is in this country.
This has been in the NY Times, Arizona papers and on NPR - to name a few.
