Sue: MoveOn.org is right now organizing a phone call movement. They want people to call the president and complain. All the info is on their web site.

listen to what Sen. Wyden says. We have to wait and see whats in the final bill. It may just turn out to be acceptable to us all. Harkin was talking to Rachel tonight, he said some positive things too, this bill needs to pass inorder to be worked and added to in the coming years. I trust Harkin.

I also trust him. Right now, though, my focus is on Lieberman. My tongue can be as sharp as my aim. And I'm one pissed woman.

That's what I told you 4 posts back.. and you ignored it.. you just went on your rant and said the President was boring and that nothing was going to happen and so on and so on... Sue you have got to calm down and get off the roller coaster.. There is no reason to sit and watch everything that is happening and fly off the handle like this. That's why they call it sausage making.. it is messy and nasty and it takes a while to get it done.

This is just the Senate version.. Remember we have the House version and then we have to reconcile the 2.. then they have to vote on the 2 bills that are put together.. Then you can get angry over what is or isn't in the bill.. We have nothing to be angry about right now. NOTHING.. Quit watching Ed Schultz.. Quit watching all the rest of them.. I did and feel much better for it. They sell newspapers and are sensationalists.. they have to try to gin things up in order to make it look good.. it's called RATINGS.. I don't believe half of what they say.. even Rachel is a little over the top sometimes.

Just relax a little.. and quit believing everything you hear.. Please.

the rant was just that, and a jumbled mess, But mostly about my anger towards Liebermann. Yes Obamas niceness and calmness does bother me too, I want him to be more forceful but I know thats not his personality!
I realize we have a long way to go but at least I'm not Deaning ya and sayng KILL THE DAMN BILL, right? lol :-)

I made this comment on one of my blogs just now.

From TPM today:

"But by the afternoon, Lieberman was praising the Democratic bill and one tea partier had literally put an X through the "Stand With Joe" written on the sign he waved."

So, maybe those emails are saying something to the jerk.

Frodo is extremely concerned. If, as he has heard this evening, the Senate Bill carries a fiscal requirement so onerous that a monthly payment could exceed that attributed to housing, then it falls beyond reason for an awful lot of Americans. To provide assistance in payment for the poor and to concomitantly significantly raise the cost to the Middle Class would truly bring about the end of the Democratic Party. If this is the case, then the President must veto the Bill.

Frodo I heard some damaging things tonight also, but as some of our friends keep telling us, we have to wait for the Senate and the House to come together with a single bill and then we can critique it. As for now I'm hopeful, I can't believe Obama would sell us out, if he does he won't be back and will only have himself to blame.

I think it's a little early to predict what may or may not happen three years from now. A lot can happen between now and then.

It's this damn back and forth Leslie. One day I hear good news and the next its bad news. But I can not give up my news shows, sorry Annette!

Leslie even tho I agree with you, lisa is a whore for the rightwingnutfucks, I deleted yours along with her so it doesn't look like you're talking to yourself. :-)

Why not? I go around the apt talking to myself all the time.

Wouldn't it be cool if Blogger put up a way by which certain names can be blocked from the get-go - just like emails can be filtered out? And you would always have to be deleting or monitoring.

Greeting's Ms.Sue!

I have posted so much and commented on this healthcare "Snowejob" for so long, it has been nauseating. I suspected since the beginning that we were going to get the shaft, and certainly posted the many different scam's and approaches ...just guessing what scam's they would pull, unfortuanetely my guesses turned out with pinpoint accuracy, I mean ... they actually done everything I suspected and wrote. The reason for commenting on your blog suddenly ... was because of your simple and to the point comment you left yesterday I believe on Infidel753's posting, where you simply said ... you feel betrayed ... which is the most logical thing to feel/think, without deluding yourself with nonsense, because the bottom line is ...you/we have been betrayed ...period.

Thank You Ms.Sue .....

Hi RC, that was Leslie at Infidels saying she felt betrayed, but thats OK, glad to have you comment here! I have such mixed emotions about the presidents approach, about obstructionist dems AND repubs, and of course Liebermann and his inflated ego and disreguard for what the people of this country want. We want real REFORM not just a bill that will benefit insurance companies only. I know we have a long way to go so it's a wait and see thing right now. Thanks RC!

Actually I was just returning realizing that I made a mistake as to your comment, I am more familiar with your posting's and just thought of you I reckon automatically, thank you for your understanding. I was also thrilled that I made this mistake, since too much of the crap I been thinking about these scam's, unfortuantely been being played out. But I was just looking at logical scam's these folk's may pull if they want to avoid reform ...they pulled just basic scamming techniques that are fairly easy to see coming. I kind of grew up in the "game" so I know how they think fairly accurately ... which also bring's me to this point ... dont think that those of our rep's on the Hill dont know what is going on with the gamer's ...they know ...they just cant "talk". Everybody knew or at least suspected what the score was going to be since the get-go.It is important that we remember this come mid-term election's ... if we all did ..and just abandon all these BS artist's and get a complete makeover of representation ...we could flush this cesspool out once and for all. But too many of these now ...will point finger's later and blame it on their opposition on both side's to cover their asses ...that's reality. Nothing will get done to where the industry will have any competition...why? because they control the whole system. Each member of congress recieved about one half million dollar's, each senator recieved about 1.5 million dollar's as I have posted .... from the health care industry already. Plus you will have over 40 million new people(working poor) that will be forced to buy/purchase from these provider's and forced to get new prescription's as I have posted plenty about as "motive" or else they will be penalized or maybe even have wages garnished ...period ...which amount's to 100's of billion's in revenue, so my first assessment of motive and scam approach was pin point accuracy like a carbon copy. Bottom line ...they won...the people lost.

Thank You Ms.Sue ....
