Gop Congressman Wally Herger calls Obamas health plan a "Threat to Democracy!!"
Well I call Herger a threat to society! A guy stands up in a town hall and says "I am a rightwing terrorist!", Herger replies... "Amen! God Bless You, that is a great American!"
Whats going on in our country?? Those who are more politically saavy than I please tell me, is this normal, has this kinda talk always gone on??

What’s going on in this country is that we have gullible and mostly ignorant people who are willing to let others do their thinking for them. They have been told not to trust any source of information or any institution other than Fox News, Rush Limbaugh and a whole rash of right-wing radio nutjobs.
They have for so long been told they are “the chosen” – hard-working, God-fearing, flag-waving WASP Americans – that they cannot empathize or sympathize with fellow human beings.
You cannot quote any reliable source to them. You cannot talk about the Nobel Prize, the Pulitzer Prize, the New York Times, the ACLU, Amnesty International or any other institution without them charging that these are all pro-Obama leftist organizations.
In short, we find ourselves in a New Civil War, and we had better be careful of the people who are hoarding their guns and ammo.
And, we ought to take a few minutes to read again Lincoln’s “Gettysburg Address.” Lincoln was a Republican, but he would be appalled at the degenerate remnants of his party.

Hi Sue! That idiot congressman has been my very own for 24 years. Can you believe it? People here re-elect him over and over and over. I actually met him once. I asked him a question and he turned tail and practically ran out of the office.
I"m still wondering why they call it 'Fox News". It's nothing more than a Republican owned station with hired guns to do their dirty work. Not at all newsworthy.

Everyone else in the country reads, watches and listens to ALL other news sources, thus dissipating the ratings for all competitors of Fox. Hey anonymous - What difference does it make what color or race the gun nut was??? Black, white or green. He was an idiot regardless. It matters because MSNBC said it was white people. THEY turned it into a race thing with their lies about it. That was my point. That they lie. I'm not a racist. I don't care what color the president is. I don't look at color. I've adopted five kids of different races so don't you dare call me a racist. And I am anonymous on here because of those adoptions. And how was this man an idiot? He was carrying an unloaded gun which is his right in AZ. These people that were carrying even called the Phoenix Police Dept. beforehand and told them what they were going to be doing and the PD said okay and gave them their own police officer. They were proving a point that their constitutional rights still stand, since this administration seems hell bent on changing everything.
And for those of you that are for banning guns, the criminals will always find a way to get guns regardless. When England banned guns for 7 years, the murders and crime there went up 320%. You don't have to own a gun, but don't take away my right to protect my family if necessary. Home invasions happen in the worst and the best neighborhoods.
