Sue, are you convinced the ticket will be Obama/Biden and not Obama/Clinton?

What happened to the last post? I wanted to see if anybody had responded to my witty "Glengarry Glen Ross" comment.

Sue - If I be so bold as to make a suggestion...

Yellow just don't cut it. Wrong message. Subliminal or otherwise.

I agree with the basis and premise of your prior Perry post.

Still hoping though the republicans identify a candidate that can beat Obama and find a unifying and fiscally responsible path for America.

Oh, and Biden is a joke, or clown. Take your pick. If I were Obama I'd dump him in 2012. He's a liability.

OK, that really cracked me up. I agree with Rational for the first and last time in my life.

Why not Obama/Huntsman?

Would that help heal our div, ided country? It won't happen, of course, because it would set a Republican up for the next election in 2016, and the Dems would never allow that.

I actually respect Huntsman's intelligence. I don't agree with all of his ideas, but I'm not sure even he does either.

I don't give a flying donut about his religion, and he doesn't seem to make an issue of it like the fundie nuts Bachmann, Perry, and Palin do. Plus he accepts Evolution as settled science--unlike the anti-science idiots mentioned above.

Anyway. It's a wild thought.

Barack Obama is not the type of man who would kick off his VP, BUT if Biden retired(would a VP retire?)I would be ok with Hillary because she'd be second in command.

Are you guys saying yellow is for cowards? The picture I copied was in yellow so I kept it.

I don't see a GOPPER beating Obama, sorry!

Shaw I do see Huntsman as sane compared to the others. Shows ya who the Republicans are at this point to put a radical like Perry ahead by a wide margin in the polls. Thats fine with me cuz he'll NEVER beat Obama. There are not enough crazies who'll vote for Perry.

Here is a fun little discussion I came across regarding Obama and Huntsman apparently posted today.

In an interview last week in Beijing, Mr. Huntsman told a Salt Lake City television station: “While in China, we serve our country. We don’t do politics.”

Asked whether he planned to pursue the Republican presidential nomination, he said, “I don’t know the answer to that yet.”

John Weaver, a Republican strategist who is urging Mr. Huntsman to run, said his experience in China only enhanced his credentials.

“If you’re asked by the president of the United States to serve your country in a foreign policy or national security role and you don’t do it,” Mr. Weaver said, “that’s disqualifying .”

In a speech at the Gridiron Dinner last month in Washington, the president said he admired all of the potential Republican candidates, but added, “I’m a little biased toward my dear, dear friend Jon Huntsman.”

“As his good friends in China might say, he is truly the yin to my yang,” Mr. Obama said with a smile. “And I’m going to make sure that every primary voter knows it.”

According to his website today, it's official. I think sanity is as good a litmus test as any for a republican contender.
