Far-Right Activist Launches Nancy Pelosi And Harry Reid ‘Burn In Hell!’ Contest
One of the most notorious far-right activists is Randall Terry, who founded the organization Operation Rescue, a radical anti-choice group. In the past, Terry has warned that he and his followers would engage in terrorism unless Congress excludes funding for abortions in health care legislation, launched a “Defeat Sotomayor” campaign that depicted the Supreme Court judge as a skull-faced killer, and used the occasion of the assassination of George Tiller to declare that the doctor, who performed abortions, was a mass murderer.
In his latest attempt to drive attention to his hate-filled agenda, Terry has launched a contest to encourage people to make videos burning House Speaker Nancy Pelosi (D-CA) and Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid (D-NV) in effigy. Randall Terry’s press release states:

Now come on people, this idiot excuse for a Christian is a total threat to our society! Those on the right who sit back and let this kinda sick talk and terroristic threats go on, you are just as guilty. All this in the name of God? This is why I call todays fanatical Christian right, wolves in sheeps clothing. True Christians could not condone these horrendous acts!

you know what I find ironic Sue? I went on Think Progress and there was a post about the SEIU holding a protest in front of Goldman Sachs(Obama's new partner)
Amazing how right after they paid $30,000 a plate to support Obama and got record bonuses that this so called "protest" was held. If you can't see that this protest and the one at the insurance companies wasn't planned by the administration then that's just being blind sided and duped into propaganda by the community organizer himself.

Randall Terry is no more of a threat than the Daily KOS and Moveon and many left wing blogs were for the last 8 years.
Although I don't agree with what he did I do agree that Pelosi and Reid are 2 peas in a pod using the office of the president as a means of endless and unchecked power to have control over the masses. How is that a good thing?

Lisa I am not obsessed with Obama. I choose to listen to what he says without fear from the rightwing nuts, and I choose to wait and see if his policies will take effect and things will start to improve over time. You can't expect one person to change history(the last miserable 8 years)and make things "perfect" like you believe he should be doing, in less than a year! When republicans control and destroy, it takes a good 8 years to fix it all!

I don;t need anyone to tell me what is going on. I can see it for myself with all his Chicago strong arms in his administration making deals and threatening people who disagree with them. And all this huge defictis he is racking up. That should concern you as an American citizen.
When people in our Government praise people like Mao and Chavez then yes I find that unnerving. I have a right to call that out without being called a rightwing nut or "paranoid". Leave those tactics to the president who uses the Alinsky playbook to guide him.
