A comeback for the right?? NEVER!!!

In an interview last night, President Obama responded to former Alaska governor Sarah Palin’s criticism of his nuclear weapons policy, saying, “the last I checked, Sarah Palin is not much of an expert on nuclear issues” “If the secretary of defense and the chairman of the joint chiefs of staff are comfortable with it, I’m probably going to take my advice from them and not from Sarah Palin,” said Obama.

Sarah Palin can see Russia from her front porch, therefore she is an expert on nuclear weapons. She really does think she could run this country better than President Obama, or does she?? Are rethugs playing mind games with the left?  Have they come to the realization the only way they can win in '10 and '12 is to convince us WE can't win?  Who is their party leader? Who are their spokesmen for the rethug party? Don't you see what they are doing? They have NOBODY, they have NO message. All they can do is repeat over and over their plans to repeal, obstruct, and plain and simply stand in the way of EVERY single piece of legislation coming out of Obama's administration. They really believe it is the ticket to their success.

They are already planning the obstruction when they take control(so they have you believe) of the House and Senate. You see they have to talk like that or they will wither and die. They can feel death at their doorsteps and they fear it so.
So they plan, they plan for the takeover in '10, they plan for the White House takeover in '12. They rely on the left rolling over in defeat but they have underestimated us. They try and put a moron like Palin out front and center, saying we have underestimated her. It's laughable. They are all about dumbing down of America, it's the only way they can steal the power. IF they can get enough dummies to follow them they could actually win!  Their strategy, how smart. The only problem is, who will they choose as their party leader?

70% or more of Americans hate Sarah Palin. How could she even consider a run for the presidency? It's horrifying, the thought of her in the role of President of the United States. The world would laugh hysterically at us! This moron from SNL fame as president?? Surely Republicans are not that stupid, are they?? But they think WE are that stupid, well not me and you, the righties.  Keep 'em in the teabagger frame of mind, it's that dumbing down scenario.

If Barack Obama wants a second term, he has it. Don't let the righties convince you he is a one term president. Don't let them get away with saying he will go down in history as the worse president ever. It's all part of their strategy to pump themselves up. You see it was their party to put the worst president in history into the White House for 8 years and they know it!

Don't let them take us back to that horrific time when the right ruled!  It is still fresh in our minds, remember it, always remember it!

“A nuclear war cannot be won and must never be fought. The only value in our two nations possessing nuclear weapons is to make sure they will never be used. But then would it not be better to do away with them entirely?” Ronald Reagan

I think the Democrats will do a lot better than expected, but we must be careful not to get complacent. Every race needs to be fought as if defeat were a real possibility. Don't forget the Coakley fiasco in Massachusetts. We couldn't lose, but we did.

A lot of people don't pay much attention to politics or the antics of people like Palin. They vote based on the economy. Everything will hinge on how fast the jobs come back.

We should come through November OK -- if we're willing to fight for it.

If Dems don't take some losses in November, the acheivement would be historic. I expect some losses, largely because 2 1/2 of the 3 main stream cable noise channels spout GOP lies without challenge, but the GOP has nothing else to offer.

There will be losses, especially down in Dixie as the Klanservatives Konsolidate their positions. But it won't be the rout the MSM is praying for.

"They are all about dumbing down of America"

Joe Bageant pointed that point out very clearly in his book "Deer Hunting with Jesus: Dispatches from America's Class War."

It's frightening how effective the elitists and their puppets the Repubics control the vast majority of America’s citizens using bullshit propaganda.

As long as the conservative mainstream media owns or controls most of the media outlets, ANY contender will continue to have a very steep uphill battle to gain and maintain their voices in government against the powerful neocons. The battle will surely be never-ending.

I watched part of that interview last night, until Palin and your good friend “pink panties” began discussing nuclear strategy. The two of those idiots discussing nuclear strategy???

Hell, I think I need to call NASA to give them instructions on how to get people to Mars. “I think, therefore I am” a rocket scientist :-)

talk about "dumbing down".
The media got people to vote for someone based on Hope and Change. whatever that was supposed to meant. Well we did get the change now we just need to keep hoping.

I wonder what it was like just prior to the American Civil War, if the rhetoric was as hateful and full of mean-spirited bullshit as it is today. I wonder how many state governments are talking secession behind closed doors right now.

I'm beginning to think it would be mighty nice living in the part of the USA with all liberals. It would be fun to see which half survived, the left or the right. Are we coming to that?

Great idea Sue. We could put the Lisas in south Texas. Better yet, we could build concentration camps.

Totally agree with Infidel but would just like to add one thing. For SP to even consider running for president shows just how stupid she is. It would be like Lisa announcing her candidacy.

Sue, in my neighborhood, we've run the Republicans out of office. :-)

Sue said...

TC we've done that in my neighborhood too, but they always seem to weasel themselves back in. People have very selective memory...

I don't think we'll lose in November; we may even gain a few seats. Repubs are dropping like flies and with people encouraging (i.e., teabaggers) repubs not to donate to the RNC, they may be in trouble come November. And Sarah Palin knows about as much about nuclear policy as does my pet rock.

Lisa G I tend to think the same thing. I can't believe Americans short memory, I HOPE they will give Obamas policies a chance to work and that takes patience. How can he turn around a decade of horror in just one to two years? This country never learns, IT TAKES TIME for dems to fix the rethug disasters! It will take Obamas full 8 years PLUS dems in office for decades after him, to turn this country back to prosperity!

Sue do you actually believe the Democrats can turn this country back to prosperity with Fannie Mae Health Care?
The only path this admin is taking us down is higher unemployment, higher health care premiums, higher taxes, higher debt, higher inflation.
I would love to split the country between liberal and conservatives. I wonder how long the rich liberals would get tired of paying all those Union benefits and pensions not to mention all the subsidies to the immigrants.
I prefer to live where the producers are.
Take Texas for example and compare it to NY,NJ and California where the bulk of all those unfunded programs are.

Plus I would feel safer too.

Good thing the public is getting educated about the government's involvement in the Mortgage crisis.

Why do you think Grayson is going all Ron Paul against the fed all of a sudden? Is he posturing for November?
