We tried to tell you but you wouldn't listen to "stupid liberals" so Beck has come out and is telling you he doesn't give a flying shit about the political process! Can you believe this revelation? You are free to stop watching, stop believing, stop the hypnotic trances you are forced into each day by this self proclaimed fraud!
With a deadpan, Beck insists that he is not political: "I could give a flying crap about the political process." Making money, on the other hand, is to be taken very seriously, and controversy is it's own coinage. "We're an entertainment company," Beck says. He says if you take what he says as gospel you are an idiot!
See, that's what I've been telling you! Now do you believe me?

There is no reason to burn down Fox News. They should just change their name to Fox Entertainment. That's what Beck says...He's just entertainment. Nothing about politics. Also, nothing about news.
'Bout time he came clean. All we've ever asked is for them to call it what it is, not news, just fluff. Entertainment should not masquerade as fact.
Beck is a comedian. Beck is also known to doctor his eyes up with Vapo-Rub to make it appear he's been crying.
Of all of them, I have always suspected that he is the one who is acting. I think the rest of them believe their own bullshit to a degree, but I'm not convinced Beck ever did. The guy has told really easily-disproven lies from day one. It's like he KNOWS HIS FANS ARE IDIOTS AND DOES WHATEVER HE THINKS WILL RILE THEM. He doesn't have to worry about any of his fan base fact-checking him. Why would they start NOW?

IMO, while he may be a fraud, which he certainly is, I still don't consider him an "entertainer" by any stretch of the imagination. I think he's a propaganda machine for the right-wing extremists.
Nobody writes the kinds of books he does and says the outrageous things he does on the air for entertainment. That would be like Joe McCarthy coming back from the dead and saying he was just joking.

The mother of the fellow who's been arrested for threatening Pelossi blames her son's behavior on listening to Beck. This may be the motivating factor behind his claim that he is just an entertainer.
I would love to listen to some Obama approved media. All I see is corporate media.
This is what is technically known as "plausible deniability". Beck can talk as irresponsibly as he wants, and do it with the outward trappings of a newsman -- but if he gets called on it, he can just say, "Oh, I didn't mean it seriously. I'm just an entertainer." It deflects the effort to hold him accountable, and the people he's whipping up won't take him any less seriously because they don't pay attention to things like that.
And so he gets to have it both ways.

I think Infidel is right but I also think the time will come when Beck will cross that thin line and get the hell sued out of him. Even the National Enguirer has lost a few suits.
I just cannot abide this fool. Since FOX News has never pixelated by flat screens I have never seen him in action, with the exception of the clips found in the blogosphere. He is an idiot, but he is dangerous because there are millions of idiots who see him as their idiot. That makes him dangerous.

Obama approved media because it's too painful for me. Believe me I try but can't even watch 30 seconds of the "Hate Tea Party,Palin,talk radio" of MSNBC. It's like always the same thing over and over and over and over. Just like Obama's boring empty speeches.
