Geezers and haters join together in Texas!

Texas lawmaker: Obama is ‘God’s punishment on us.’

Texas state Rep. Leo Berman (R)

Something very sinister is going on in our country. Elected officials feel the need to join in the rhetoric being spewed by right-wing hate groups. Saturday Gov. Rick Perry and several other electeds were at an event in Tyler Texas with none other than Mr. Insanity himself, the Beckster. Perry said he was proud to be in an army of anti-Obama Americans! Such sickening words coming from someone who holds some power in our free society.  One theme at the event was that our country has drifted far away from it's founding values. Isn't that interesting? Maybe the righties need to take a closer look at themselves, they are the ones causing the DRIFT!

State Rep. Leo Berman (that's him, the Satanic looking old geezer pictured above) told the crowd he believes Barack Obama is God's punishment on us today, but, he says, "In 2012 we are going to make Obama a one term president."  Dream on you old fart!

Remember the post I did saying Beck doesn't give 2 fucks about politics? Well at this event he claimed to be carrying out Gods plan! He said the U.S. Constitution was divinely inspired and our rights come from God. "If God is with us then who can possibly stand against us?"  Well Beckster and fans, maybe you should be trying to bring all Americans together, helping spread the joy and love that God would like of you, instead of dividing and hating certain segments of our population and our President Obama?? That is more Godly, wouldn't you think?

Interestingly old geezer Berman told Chinese-American immigration lawyer Harry Joe from Dallas to "go home"and kiss his ass. This stupidity came after Joe criticized Berman's proposal to require all undocumented immigrants to be located in self-designated "sanctuary cities". OKAY.... now, recall Michelle Bachmann when she talked about refusing to complete the 2010 Census?  Her insane reasoning for refusing to fill out the Census completely was  because she claimed the data would be used for "nefarious purposes" including the imprisonment of Americans in concentration camps!  So which is it you right wingers?  Bachmann says our government wants to imprison Americans and that's wrong, but Republican Berman likes the idea. Maybe it's WHO they actually want in these concentration camps.

I was looking at Leo Berman's bio; he's a member of various anti tax groups, the NRA, and the usual criteria for being a Republican these days.

Then I went ANCESTRY.COM. The name Berman has several origins, but the most numerous is "# Jewish (Ashkenazic): from the Yiddish male personal name Berman, meaning ‘bear man’.
# Respelling of German Bermann 1–3."

Leo Berman is a member of the Episcopal Church. But there is a possibility that he may be of Jewish ancestry on his paternal side.

And all the guy wants to do is send the undocumenteds to "sanctuary cities". Sounds like something from a particular country in a particular era under a particular dictator....by the way, that dictator made a certain religious group a scapegoat for all of the country's ills.

(Any similarities to a political movement who's name began with an "N" and ended in an "I" is purely coincidental.)

As for "Beck as in Wreck"...I think there should be odds in Vegas as to when he snaps on TV and has to be taken away in straight jacket. But its the ones who watch him and believe his crap who are the ultimate whack jobs.

More proof we needed a Public Option...a lot of psychiatric help is necessary in our beloved US of A.

This is the Christian way, trying to deport their Christian Mexican brother.

They love the concentration Camp thing, and putting people into reserves like the pesky immigrant Native American godless red man.

"If God is with us then who can possibly stand against us?" --G.Beck

Let's be serious. Beck is an assh**e. Our Constitution is a secular document, having nothing in it referring to gods.

So Beck, as usual is talking out of his anus, as does Palin when she talks about this country being a Christian nation and that there is no separation between church and state.

But my hope, my ardent hope, is that the GOP nominates and runs Palin as their presidential candidate--perhaps having Beck or Victoria Jackson as her running mate. She is the face of the GOP--ignorance--proud ignorance.

It is amazing the amount of hate that is generated in the name of god. She must be rolling over in her grave.

Oh wait....

Oh, I figured on Palin as President, Bachmann as VP, and Jackson as Secretary of State. Beck is doing too good a job for them just where he is.

I love it! I can't watch Beck because I'm working, so all I gotta do is stop by a good lib site like this one and get the straight scoop!

Serious question: So do you think Glenn is effective, or is he just a rodeo clown?

I notice the left is really fixated on him. We on the right train our attention on the Obama in Chief and don't really worry about the OlberMadows.

I just find it fascinating watching liberal fascination with righty personalities...
