Look at the poll in this video...
69% of the public has a negative view of the governments response to the Gulf oil spill
62% had a negative view of the governments handling of the Katrina disaster.
Listen to what Joe Scarborough says about this terrible poll. I don't know what is happening in our country but it ain't pretty! So many rightwing know-it-alls are slamming President Obama for absolutely no legitimate reason whatsoever!

Boy, is he right on!
I don't see bloated corpses floating down the streets. That is an image from Katrina that will never get out of my mind. The gulf spill is horrible, but BP is the evil one here. Their profits are insane and they cut corners and violated safety regulations worse than any other oil company.
They are not even compensating the fisherman etc. in a timely manner.
you're right! Joe is about the only rightwinger I can stomach, he was truthful and needs to speak more about the unjust treatment President Obama is getting.
I think the poll is just reflecting the public's general disgust with the spill. I suspect that if the poll asked about BP's response to the spill, the numbers would be much higher.
Also, this is not a spill. The Exxon Valdez was a spill. This is a continuous gushing of oil from a hugh underground reservoir. Calling it a leak is really minimizing the problem.
I think Jerry is absolutely correct...the right question wasn't asked. Who the hell in their right mind could blame Obama. It is clearly BP.
I don't see any dead human corpses but I sure see a lot of dead marine animals. I agree with Jerry but I'm afraid a lot of Dems are getting as stupid as the Republicans.
This is a man caused disaster.
Jerry I have been calling it a gusher, you're right it is no spill. I know the public is disgusted but saying Obama was slow is simply wrong and people like Linda need to pay more attention to what is going on. Obama and team were on this disaster immediately.
Hi JJ, long time no see! BP is to blame but also Halliburton and I hope more comes out soon on that news. Where there's Halliburton, there's DicklessCheney....
Leslie we do have our dems questioning Obamas response, no doubt. I think it's just fear and frustration.
