Subject: Senate Democrat voting privileges in standing committees

Dear Members,

With the return of the Senate Democrats this weekend, questions have arisen regarding Democrat members’ participation in Senate standing committee public hearings and executive sessions.

Please note that all 14 Democrat senators are still in contempt of the Senate. Therefore, when taking roll call votes on amendments and bills during executive sessions, Senate Democrats’ votes will not be reflected in the Records of Committee Proceedings or the Senate Journal. They are free to attend hearings, listen to testimony, debate legislation, introduce amendments, and cast votes to signal their support/opposition, but those votes will not count, and will not be recorded.

If you have any questions, feel free to contact my office.

Thank you,

Scott Fitzgerald
Senate Majority Leader
 13th Senate District

OKAY, so how long will the thugs hold the 14 Democrats "in Contempt"?  Long enough to pass all their contemptuous legislation?

Hopefully, this will propel the needed number of people to sign the recall petitions. They've already gathered half of the needed signatures within the last two weeks.

They're fucking Nazis, period. And so are the ass-hats who support them.

I live in Wisconsin. Went to the rally on Saturday and it was just amazing!
That guy is such an Ass!
How he ever got into power is beyond me.
I hardly recognize my state anymore.

The Rushpubliscums have set up a Politburo. It's a pity we don't have a national Executive to protect people from the tyranny, isn't it?

That's great news.

You can donate to the recall effort here.

A successful recall would really put some fear into the rest of these creatures across the country, and maybe limit their lust to do more damage.

It would also show Anonymous what real "payback" looks like.

our politicians stooping to paybacks, how mature, what a way to work for the good of the people. Yay Thugs, show your true colors!

I don't believe there are enough thug base to keep these slugs in office. Their numbers are falling. Maybe we'll end up with a possible 20% rightie majority, hardly enough to elect the wingnuts who want to turn our country into a fascist state.

As I always say, those damn Rushpubliscums!

Jolly, I thought the executive is supposed to defend the nation against other people, not against the nation. You just hate him because he is white.

The first link is from Forbes, the Second from US NEWS

This has turned very unethical... an extreme example of unrestrained power. In another unsettling development, a Blogger who blew the Whistle on State Senator Randy Hopper's extra marital affair ( and possible violations for living, voting and collecting per diems while living out of district has had his website shut down. I don't know what happened to "Blogging Blue" but it's not there anymore. Or I can't reach it...not sure what is up.

But try this on for size... The Democrat whom Scott Walker defeated for the Governorship was beaten and injured rather badly at The State Fair in 2009 while responding to a woman being attacked. Story here
http://www.jsonline.com/news/milwaukee/53347442.html

He was hit several times with a pipe, lost some teeth ... you can see him after the attack on youtube

During the campaign Barrett refused to capitalize on what occurred. Leaves me wondering what Scott Walker would have done?

I have to wrap up and get on the phone.

wow wow wow, the republiscums are backed in a corner and when that happens look out. I'm getting very nervous, it's gonna get much worse before it gets better...

Once elected and after Congress has certified the Electoral votes, a President of The United States may only be removed from office by impeachment by the House followed by conviction by the Senate.

But not liking a president or disagreeing with him are not grounds for impeachment.

Sorry about my harsh comment earlier but I'm really very angry, not to say worried, about this threat to our democracy. The parallels to the rise of fascism in Germany are too similar to be ignored.

don't apologize L, my BP is at the boiling point today, I feel the same as you do..
Fascism is here, but many don't want to admit it.

I had an anon comment saying something about recalling Obama, thats what FJ is commenting about.
