Teabaggers seem confused..

I was thinking....At the TeaParty Republican debate Ron Paul was asked what a person who chooses not to buy health insurance but gets sick is supposed to do to get the care he needs to stay alive. The teabaggers in the audience applauded and some cheered loudly when Wolf Blitzer asked Paul if the man should just be left to die.  But how do you explain these people who criticize the presidents proposed mandate that all Americans must buy health insurance,  they call it unconstitutional! It's one of the "Obamacare" proposals they are most vocal on.  Is their stance you should not be forced to buy insurance or you should be forced to buy insurance?? Should that man have been forced to buy insurance so he didn't die, NO, because the TP's say that is unconstitutional, right? So why then did they cheer for a "dying man" who had no insurance if they say it's okay not to be insured??  Do you think the teabaggers know how confused they are?

Just a word on the NY-9 Anthony Weiner seat special election loss for Dems....I don't believe for a second this was meant as a wake up call for President Obama. This district is heavily populated with people of the Jewish Faith, we all know they are not thrilled with Pres. Obama, so what do people who are upset with their president do? Besides Boo Hooing, they vote for the other party then live to regret it a few months from now...ALL this LOCAL election means is this..NOTHING!!! imho...

Don't fall for the bad press Dems, if we start getting all upset and going negative it will NOT HELP us in the presidential race where every single Democrat needs to VOTE!!  So put your big boy and girl panties on and remember this, the seat may not stay in Republican hands for long because of redistricting,  this seat is one NY is expected to lose anyway!

I did read somehwhere that the union sat home. How true it is, I don't know. On the WaPo some Dem official was quoted as saying that the candidate was weak. So why did they select him? This district, however, is about to get gerrymandered out, so Turner isn't going to have a job for very long.

There's so much hype right now - accross the board. A lot of misreading and misinterpretation. We need to think with our noggins and not with our emotions.
