Gaggle Of Pricks. Great! I love it!

And they are bitching and moaning about the nuclear option? Talk about selective memories. They were all about the nuclear option just a short time ago.

What a gaggle of whinny pricks. Every time they open their mouths, they sound stupider and stupider.

Michael Steele was just speaking on TV, he and the GOP equate having health insurance to having car insurance. They believe it's a privilege and always will. Pathetic...

So when you are denied a procedure you won't be fighting the insurance companies anymore but you will be fighting the government.
You know all those nasty republicans who could give a damn about you protecting your corporate boogeymen.
But now you have a government who will be looking out for each and everyone of us with no special interests of their own but your well being will be first and foremost.
Amazing how this will be all turned around.
Don't you feel so much better now knowing all you anti government people now have a government you can trust to take care of us?

Ms. Onymous: So when you are denied a procedure you won't be fighting the insurance companies anymore but you will be fighting the government.

In the case of the public option, the people making such decisions will work for the government, which is accountable to the voters. Today they work for insurance compaines, which are accountable to nobody.

Accountable to the voters.
Maybe someone should tell that to the government.

This proves two things to me;
(1). The GOP are experts on scaring the crap out of people in the middle- and galvanizing their base at the same time- by repeating the same pack of lies in unison enough times to make these poor saps think it has to be true true.

(2). Also....the majority of Republicans can pronounce the word "nuclear" much better than a certain former president did.

Back to watching "the summit"....and getting ready to shovel more snow!!!!

The GOP are doubling down on fear tactics.

I'm shocked.

I'm trying real hard to listen but at times it's been hard with the 2 and a half yr old here!

So far a bunch of the same ole same ole. There was a rethug strategist on MSNBC said he thinks Obama is ARROGANT to be persuing this when the country doesn't want it!!!!!!!!!!!!! CLUELESS!

Hugh we don't have ANY snow, it has been reported the heavy snow will be after 7pm. I find that hard to believe by the few flurries we've had so far!

Sue said...

now Mike Pence is saying Obama is being condescending. Says also the PEOPLE WANT THE BILL SCRAPPED AND START OVER. LIE!!!

We're on the same page here Sue. I posted a rather extensive commentary on the Health Summit earlier today. There is NO WAY the Republicans are EVER going to allow health care reform. If there is any way they can stop it they will!

1,124,457, thats how many calls, faxes, emails poured in yesterday for the virtual march on Washington! Great job!

Mike I'll be by later tonight, thanks!

Obama arrogant? Not a chance

1,124,457. That's pretty damn impressive. Modern technology certainly has its advantages. Even anonymous assholes can do it.

Arrogant, eh?

Here's the definition:

1 : exaggerating or disposed to exaggerate one's own worth or importance often by an overbearing manner

Mr. Obama does NOT exaggerate his own worth. Fact is, in that setting full of pols at the health care summit, he was probably the smartest guy in the room.

As parents, we encourage our children to believe in their worth and have confidence in themselves.

One person's confidence is another's arrogance. It all depends on which prism one is looking through.

I like the fact that Mr. Obama appears in control of the facts and uses his position as the POTUS to assert himself.

Nothing wrong with that. The American people chose him to be their leader, not whiney John McCain, not any of the other men in that room.

Actually, it's arrogant to accuse Mr. Obama of being arrogant.

IMHO, it's just a weasley way of saying "uppity," just ask Rush Limbaugh.

"One person's confidence is another's arrogance."

Good point, Shaw. I know that he is confident in what he's trying to get across to these insurance company lapdogs seems arrogant, but is just his confidence in knowing what he's talking about and he's doing it to the point where it's going over their heads. They're still used to the 2.0 GPA dipshit that was in office before him and everything then was dumbed down.

Mad Jack just sounds bitter and he's taking a wild, childish cheap shot. Behold the REAL John McCain.

Sue said...

what did we learn today? That the GOP aren't budging, that President Obama IS the smartest man in the room, Nancy Pelosi was awesome in her smackdowns, Even Harry Reid impressed me. Sorry rethugs, game over, you lose.

Frodo, shoulda left him there said...

Yeah, but you get to the point a lot quicker than Rachel.

Frodo wonders if that weasel Eric Cantor isn't the same little weenie he found stuffed into a gym locker with his underpants tied around his ears several years ago?

They were Fruit of the Loom.

Jerry Critter said...

More like Fruit of the Loon!

Sue said...

Frodo I agree about Cantor, what a fruity fairy little fucker!!!

Sorry about the potty mouth guys, I was so mad tho and I even wanted to take it farther but decided I had said more than enough. Oh well.

Good one Jerry! lol

Leslie Parsley said...

Potty mouth? I didn't see any potty mouth. I just saw a hilarious new meaning for the GOP. Couldn't have said it better. It's a keeper.

Sue said...

thanks Leslie, I do regret when I rant like that, No I was not a truckdriver in my other life! lol

What I got from this as a whole:

If you don't have insurance, can't afford insurance or have a pre-existing condition, republicans AREN'T your friend. In other words, nothing has changed.

Jerry Critter said...

Republicans don't have friends. Republicans have clients. You pay to play.
