Van Jones to Glenn Beck: ‘I see you, and I love you, brother.’
Last year, one of Fox News host Glenn Beck’s top targets was Van Jones, former Obama administration special adviser for green jobs. Beck went on a vicious character assassination campaign against Jones, calling him “a communist-anarchist radical.” Despite all the attacks he endured, last night at the NAACP Image Awards, Jones refused to drop down to Beck’s level. At the end of his speech accepting the President’s Award for his work promoting a green economy, Jones instead had kind words for the Fox News host:Last thing I want to say is this: To my fellow countryman, Mr. Glenn Beck. I see you, and I love you, brother. I love you, and you cannot do anything about it. I love you, and you cannot do anything about it. Let’s be one country! Let’s be one country! Let’s get the job done!As the New York Times notes, ironically, local Fox affiliate stations carried Jones’ speech live last night. This past week, the Center for American Progress announced that Jones will be rejoining the think tank as a Senior Fellow and leader of the new Green Opportunity Initiative, which will focus on “creating economic opportunity in distressed communities.” He will also be teaching environmental and economic policy as part of a one-year fellowship at Princeton University.
Fabulous! Who do you think has suffered the most from Becks chalkboard games and his hate-filled agenda?? Beck or Jones? Van Jones is a class act...... Beck IS an act, a classless actor...

Beck's an entertainer. Unfortunately many people take him as almost a seer.
I watched part of his show once and was very surprised.I was expecting someone along the lines of a Bill Buckley, but the guy was pretty colorless and didn't appear to be a deep thinker. That someone like that can generate such a following among politically motivated people who choose to measure issues against Beck's rants does not speak well of the American public.
To anyone on the right who would say if I don't like it, turn it off I would respond that's what I did. I saw what he had to offer and found it lacking; factually he makes a lot of errors and takes liberty with the truth.
Therein lies the problem. Beck's followers base their opinions on an ideologues views rather than doing research and studying the issues. I respect conservatives, I don't respect ideologues.
Beck was given the "award" for the most un-informed talk show host, or whatever he is, by MediaMatters. It'll be interesting to see how he reacts.
it's hard to believe that there are people dumber than glenn blechhh, but no matter how low he sets the bar, there are people out there stupid enough to think he knows what he's talking about.

There's Van Jones and his classy remark to Beckerhead, and below that is Bunning's "Tough S**t!" remark, and to the right of that is Big Dick Cheney's photo with the caption "Torture Advocate.
Three photos: Top one is the guy the righties demonized and who had apologized and refuted his connections with the extremist groups and now dedicates his life to the public good but was hounded out of office by Beck, and the other two are admired by the righties: one is a bumbling potty-mouthed do-nothing Senator not caring about out-of-work Americans, and the other is a disgrace to the human race.
In any case, there can't be too many blog posts on Van Jones.

Anyway, one day I'm at the dog park and this young reporter begins walking along with me. I asked who she was with. Fox. Oh, I said with a straight face, I like Fox. She kind of picked uo a little speed but kept looking back to see if my face was still straight. It was.

I know several people who faithfully follow Beck. They think he hung the moon and believe every word he says. It goes without saying that they are ignorant and stupid as hell.
