Boner doesn't know dick about my freedoms!!

Loss of freedoms Boner??? Have you ever had to get approval from your insurance co. for a much needed operation? Have you ever had to argue with your insurance co. because you wanted to go to the lab in your neighborhood instead of the one 20 miles away? Have you ever had to choose a new DR. and leave the one you had and trusted for 10 years because he wasn't in the "network"?? I'm sorry but you are mistaken when you stupidly talk about freedoms! In August teabaggers showed up at town halls and it didn't amount to a pile of shit for your wingnuttery stance on HC reform. On 9/12 the wingnutfucks who showed up at Beckwads rally didn't amount to "hundreds of thousands". Thats a fact. Today your little rally will not get you anywhere, so please, PLEASE shut up. You and your rethugs are WRONG and the people of this country are NOT listening to you!!

This is what I tweeted to Boehner this morning on Twitter when he was crowing about how awesome the GOP healthcare bill is:

@johnboehner CBO says GOP health care ‘alternative’ leaves 52 million uninsured by '19. Good job, Boehner. Cut costs by not covering anyone.

Boehner is an idiotic twat.

Ahhhh, Mr. Boehner, you stiff dick, your quotation from the Constitution is actually from the Declaration of Independence, not that any of the bright bulbs in your audience would know the difference.

Ha! Time for a cup of tea.

Boner is a limp noodle. He has not seen a sober day since he came to office. These clowns are in their last stretch of denial. The uber fringe of the rethugs are pressing their luck. They will be considered out casts in the sea of politics.

You know, you all would have a lot more credibility with the issues if you at least acknowleged that the 50% of people who honestly disagree with the current proposed health care takeover have the RIGHT to do so! No one says that you must agree with conservatives, but you would actually deny them the right to voice their objections. The tea party people HAVE THE RIGHT to protest. The republicans and other conservatives HAVE THE RIGHT to disagree with our president and his czars. I thought liberals stood up for the right of the little people! Do you want to take away the right to protest, too????

You have consistantly denigrated the people who are trying to move forward with a sensible plan that is affordable for the people as well as one that does not throw our country into massive indebtedness to the Chinese for the next 500 years. Your main concern, Sue, seems to be your own circumstances. I sympathize with your situation...someone in my immediate family is also without health care coverage right now, but ruining our economy for hundreds of years is NOT the way to get coverage! Look past your own concerns and see that this dem plan will bankrupt our country or turn its citizens into "worker bees" for the government. It is NOT free health care, honey!

The Pelosi/Reed ideas will not provide the health care that you need, nor will it be deficit neutral as promised. It is a lie being foisted upon the public in order to gain control of 20% of the economy of the USA.

Even worse will be the Cap and Trade bill. That will AT LEAST DOUBLE your electric bill. Wake up...you are being lied to.

If people didn't have to come up with all the new taxes to pay for Obama Care and Cap and Trade, they might be well able to pay for their own mortgage AND health care.

This Congress is so out of touch.
They are only for their own interests and lobbyists. They are killing jobs like every other socialist country has done.
They are creating class warfare and yet they are the biggest snobs knowing what's best for us. If it's so great where are Pelosi, reid and Obama's signature on the bill for themselves they want to force us into.
Amazing how you you are falling for this line of bull crap an you have Al Gore the biggest lobbyist for cap and trade killing the little guy while he gets more rich.
All the things you guys bitched about for 8 years but worse.
Your blind hatred for everything not Obama will have you kicking your selves one day.Have you ever lerned from histoy it is dangerous to give give a governemnt unlimited power over its people?
With all this back door, nose in the air arrogant assholes in this admin and you hate Republicans so much that you are willing to give in to whatever they say like puppets.
In what economics class can you extend Medicare to 300 million people and cut costs without rationing and less choice?
One day yo will come to realize when you have to stay in a hospital, that's if you can find one in a town near you,and you are sharing a room with 20 other people ward style.
Welcome to the world of "Progressives".

Yet ANOTHER broken promise by this administration!! Wake up people...

They don't want us to know all the lies they have put into their bill before voted upon. Deceit is the way they legislate. This SHOULD be a warning to all people.

I never said teabaggers can't protest, I just laugh. And yes it infuriates me when they display signs with the dead Holocaust victims, that is crossing the line and showing how dirty they really are!

Linda if you took the time to listen to Obamas plan and turn off Beck you might understand it better. This reform is going to SAVE money, its not FREE and we never expected FREE HC. I will pay my premiums just like you do but we will both be able to save money there because HC won't be 25% of our yearly income anynmore!

Rebublicans do not have a better plan, all their plan does is give more money to ins companies. Come on over to the side that actually cares about the average American!

Oh and BTW, the things listed in the post are just general atrocities commited by ins. companies, not necessarily personal things that have happened to me.

Lisa said...

Sue eventually it will rise above 255 of your income. It is impossible not to.
And even if it 25% you will be pay in other forms of taxes. Your local state taxes will rise, there is a vat tax looming and by the time capa nd trade kicks in well I don't even want to imagine that.
But Al Gore and Pelosi care so much about us.
Everytime I hear that I want to puke. They have you hating so much that you believe everything they say.
That is not progressive, that is regressive.

Sue said...

lisa PLEASE stop watching Beck, just try it for a week...

I guess Linda wasn't being truthful when she said she was leaving us forever. Sigh! Nobodu here has ever said that tea baggers may not protest. We just expose the lies they heep telling.

The Wool Cupboard said...

TC ~ What lies do you refer to? Maybe tea party people consider the democrat propaganda that we hear from Pelosi and Reid to be obvious lies because the things they say are IMPOSSIBLE to the normal thinking person!!

Yeah, we are going to cover every man, woman, and child in America with (basically) "Medicare" and it will be deficit neutral. We will have the best health care - far better than private insurers can offer - for a lot less money...riiiight. This coming from the administration that has plunged us into nearly insurmountable debt giving away money to encourage the purchase of cars in "cash for clunkers" (stupid idea, btw); the people who forced the Freddie Mac and Fannie Mae fiascos; the stupid people who paid $70,000 - $200,000 for TRAILERS worth $25,000 for Katrina victims to live in "for a year" (they are still in the trailers); the people who have bankrupted Social Security and Medicare, and who have now decided to let you give them your mortgage and you can rent from them...YOU CANNOT POSSIBLY BE THAT IGNORANT. The government can do NOTHING more efficiently or less inexpensively than private industry. You people cannot be that uninformed. YOU don't know what is in the 2000 page bill because NO ONE has ever read it all. You are going by blind trust in a President who cannot possibly do everything he has promised. He's too "busy". The problem is that he should never have been elected in the first place because he was not qualified. Nancy Pelosi has called for a vote on health care tomorrow, and she has dumped her promise to give at least 72 hours to let congressmen read the lousy bill. She won't let them read it because she doesn't WANT them to know what is in it. They wouldn't vote for the flawed legislation if they were actually given time to study it! You will be sorry for the day that you put these morons in office.

Read what will happen to you if you don't obey the provisions of the concerned and sympathetic Nancy Pelosi in her "creation in love for the unwashed masses."

I think conservatives are waaaaay more concerned and giving than the great and witty Nancy P!!!!

I read your linky thingy and here's one of the comments left for the misinformed author. and BTW,in your state are you required by law to buy car insurance and homeowners insurance, then why not health insurance? If all were insured we wouldn't have to carry those who weren't like we've been doing forever.

comment:
"Don't worry, the Senate has gutted this part of their bill. They even included language to make SURE the tax policy punishments would not apply and lowered the fine to $200. Certainly not a mandate to buy health insurance, maybe a "suggestion" would be more appropriate."

"The Congressional Budget Office has concluded that under the GOP amendment to the House health care bill, the number of uninsured Americans would increase, as would premiums. In fact, if taxpayers weren't paying the bill, GOP leaders would probably not be able to afford insurance under their own proposal.

"The six men and one woman in the Republican House leadership have an average age of 52, and as a group are more susceptible to cardiovascular disease, different cancers, high blood pressure, and host of other chronic diseases. The Republican health alternative would allow insurers to discriminate against these conditions and price the Republican leaders out of the market."

Key excerpts from the JCT (Joint Committee on Taxation) letter appear below:

“H.R. 3962 provides that an individual (or a husband and wife in the case of a joint return) who does not, at any time during the taxable year, maintain acceptable health insurance coverage for himself or herself and each of his or her qualifying children is subject to an additional tax.” [page 1]

- – - – - – - – - -

“If the government determines that the taxpayer’s unpaid tax liability results from willful behavior, the following penalties could apply…” [page 2]

- – - – - – - – - -

“Criminal penalties

Prosecution is authorized under the Code for a variety of offenses. Depending on the level of the noncompliance, the following penalties could apply to an individual:

• Section 7203 – misdemeanor willful failure to pay is punishable by a fine of up to $25,000 and/or imprisonment of up to one year.

• Section 7201 – felony willful evasion is punishable by a fine of up to $250,000 and/or imprisonment of up to five years.” [page 3]

When confronted with this same issue during its consideration of a similar individual mandate tax, the Senate Finance Committee worked on a bipartisan basis to include language in its bill that shielded Americans from civil and criminal penalties. The Pelosi bill, however, contains no similar language protecting American citizens from civil and criminal tax penalties that could include a $250,000 fine and five years in jail.

Sue ~ Just because someone comments on the article does not mean that they know what they are talking about. I have heard other sources say that this is true. Under the Pelosi bill you could go to jail and pay a fine if you do not maintain a certain amount of coverage.
