YAY!!

I'm behind and outta the loop cuz I went on a weekend shopping spree in Lancaster, PA. BUT, the lousy hotel TV did let me see the healthcare bill passage even if it was on FOX!! Yay House dems and one lonely repub, way to work it out!!

Yes, even if there are some of the amendments that are questionable.. at least it passed.. Proof that we can get something done.. even when the media was saying right up to the very end.. It was a NO GO....lol

Glad you got to see it.. even if it was on Faux Noise....lol

I LUV Lancaster. Spent a week there on a friend's farm and felt so at peace. Didn't smoke a cig the entire time!

I, too, am glad you got to see the news re the health bill.

How do you feel about the fact you can be charged criminally if you do not obtain Health Insurance?
So nice this was done in such a democratic way behind closed doors with no debate. Oh the transparency of it all. It just keeps getting more and more opaque in DC.

Annette and Leslie I missed so much TV this past weekend and was so upset not having computer time too! It was a huge weekend I will never get back, LOL!! No C-Span, No MSNBC, just Fox and CNN, but I fell asleep and saw the good news at 6am Sunday.

Leslie I am about 90 minutes from Lancaster and go often. I say it's Gods country, very beautiful and yes, peaceful! I want to move there someday.

Lucky you. One thing that fascinates me is that the Amish travel the country demonstrating and selling their quilts - at outrageous prices and patters/colors duplicated over and over. They do make a mean clothes drying rack, though.

It is absolutely beautiful country.
