Before the wing nut trolls get here.. if they haven't already invaded the space...lol There was an estimated 60 to 70,000 idiots in the mob yesterday. That's all.. huge epic fail.. lol poor Glenn was embarrassed he didn't get his millions he wanted so they made up the numbers.. but the DC Fire Dept. stated it was only in the tens of thousands... that's the official count..

You missed the best signs.. I am going to link to you and put up a couple more...lol

In case you haven't seen this yet, Check out this report. No surprise, but Fox news, again, deceived their viewers yesterday.

Now, now guys. Look on the bright side. If you look at it the right way, you could say they contributed to helping the economy.

All those signs,t-shirts, food, gas, lodging, etc. had to cost them some money. I mentioned this on Elizabeth's blog along with a quote from Dave Mustaine back in the 80's when he found out that angry parents were burning his albums. "You got ta but 'em to burn 'em"

D.C. and the surrounding areas probably did a nice steady business from the 1.5 million(*bullshit*, and rolls eyes) people that were there.

CDM you are being way too easy on the idiots, come on get mad!!!

Susan it's amazing how many conservative blogs are saying 1.5 to 2 million showed up!

There were ALSO many throughout the country of those who didn't make DC.

We had one April 15 and had 3000 people and our local TV station showed it at 7:30 pm AFTER MANY people left even though they were flying above all day and called it a couple of dozen people.
The media certainly drives the story.

My favorite sign was "Last time I was here was inaurgaration day. Had no idea I'd be back so soon"

It's amazing how the media doesn't even report it.

Sue said...

lisa don't you get it, conservative blogs LIE and distort the truth! Even Malkins blog is retracting the number!

Lisa said...

Well that was still my favorite sign.

"Thank you Fox News and Talk Radio"

Says a lot right there...and that came from your lame ass video. There's 3 minutes I'll never get back. Never saw that sign you like so much in the video.

Sue, remember what I said earlier about these misguided individuals? Why get mad over something so small and obviously so phony? She's not even acknowledging the repealled numbers in D.C. Lisa's trying to take up the slack, don't fault her for doing a lousy job. I suppose next will come, "neaner, neaner, neaner!"

I'll get my niece.

I didn't say I saw the sign or that it was in the video. A friend who was there saw it along with alot of "voter's remorse" signs.

I'm not a "wing nut", I'm not an "idiot" and I'm not a troll. Just happened to find your blog through a Google search for something else. However, I was at the march Saturday. The picture of the empty Mall is a sad joke or an indication of ignorance - take your pick.

There were many black people there; there were black people who were speakers. There were Hispanics, old people, young people, average Americans.

Dan Bana, head of the National Park Service, said he believed the event Saturday was the largest event held at the Capitol - EVER. There were more than 70,000 people there.

Police were turning away buses at noon, because they said the permit for the event didn't allow for as many people as showed up. I-495 was gridlocked; it took people HOURS to get into the city.

The DC Fire Dept. only states "tens of thousands" for EVERY event because they do not want to have to actually COUNT the people.

I am a HS English teacher - my sign did not contain any spelling mistakes. I'm not a racist - I have a half-white president with whom I disagree on policies.

It seems that all you can do is malign others and call names. That is so mature, and it really solves problems.

Oh, HELL NO! I was accused of that crap TIME AND TIME again. Don't bring that weak ass shit up in here, it won't fly.

By the way, I've been to D.C. before, it's like that A LOT of times during the year.

You wanna talk solving problems? What good did you do other than give the local economy a boost?

And where the hell were you when the war in Iraq started? Or when G.W. and his majority spent like drunk sailors on shore leave which got us into the mess we're in right now? I could go on and on. But you chose THIS time to go to D.C. Wow, THAT is infinite wisdom.

Hey, got a great idea. Since your kind don't like socialism, get a rally to stop medicare. I'm sure there's plenty of folks in your family or extended family that would LOVE to hear about those efforts.

Unreal.

Let me start off by saying, I am an independant and was not a big Bush supporter. But,

If George W. Bush had been the first President to need a teleprompter installed to be able to get through a press conference, would you have laughed and said this is more proof of how he inept he is on his own and is really controlled by smarter men behind the scenes?

If George W. Bush had spent hundreds of thousands of dollars to take Laura Bush to a play in NYC, would you have approved?

If George W. Bush had reduced your retirement plan's holdings of GM stock by 90% and given the unions a majority stake in GM, would you have approved?

If George W. Bush had made a joke at the expense of the Special Olympics, would you have approved?

If George W. Bush had given Gordon Brown a set of inexpensive and
incorrectly formatted DVDs, when Gordon Brown had given him a thoughtful and historically significant gift, would you have approved?

If George W. Bush had given the Queen of England an iPod containing videos of his speeches, would you have thought this embarrassingly narcissistic
and tacky?

If George W. Bush had bowed to the King of Saudi Arabia, would you have approved?

If George W. Bush had visited Austria and made reference to the
non-existent "Austrian language," would you have brushed it off as a minor slip?

If George W. Bush had filled his cabinet and circle of advisers with
people who cannot seem to keep current on their income taxes, would you have approved?

If George W. Bush had been so Spanish illiterate as to refer to "Cinco de Cuatro" in front of the Mexican ambassador when it was the fourth of May (Cuatro de Mayo), and continued to flub it when he tried again, would you
have winced in embarrassment?

If George W. Bush had mis-spelled the word advice would you have hammered him for it for years like Dan Quayle and potatoe as proof of what a dunce he is?

If George W. Bush had burned 9,000 gallons of jet fuel to go plant a single tree on Earth Day, would you have concluded he's a hypocrite?

If George W. Bush's administration had okayed Air Force One flying low over millions of people followed by a jet fighter in downtown Manhattan causing
widespread panic, would you have wondered whether they actually get what happened on 9-11?

If George W. Bush had failed to send relief aid to flood victims throughout the Midwest with more people killed or made homeless than in New Orleans, would you want it made into a major ongoing political issue with claims of
racism and incompetence?

If George W. Bush had ordered the firing of the CEO of a major
corporation, even though he had no constitutional authority to do so, would you have approved?

If George W. Bush had proposed to double the national debt, which had
taken more than two centuries to accumulate, in one year, would you have approved?

If George W. Bush had then proposed to double the debt again within 10 years, would you have approved?

So, tell me again, what is it about Obama that makes him so brilliant and impressive? Can't think of anything? Don't worry. He's done all this in 9 months -- so you'll have three years and 3 months to come up with an
answer.

well ms. duhfuck,

nice copy and paste job courtesy of faux noise. Your moron Bush can't hold a candle to my President Obama. The difference in his intelligence alone is striking! Get over yourself and your fucked up views of our great President, he's here for 8 years so live with it douchebag!!
